I think ATT just enabled MMS, it just started working for me. Give it a try.

I got nuthin... I don't think it can just "start working." I'm pretty sure they will have to put out a carrier settings update for it.

strange.. I just tried again and it works. It has never worked for me before. I didn't call or modify anything.

Did you apply the IPCC file that most of the workarounds call for, in order to have the camera button show up in the Messages app, or did it just show up on its own?

No, I didn't apply the modified IPCC file. Like I said above I didn't do anything.

It makes sense that they'll roll it out slowly or regionally over time I guess. Still sucked seeing this thread title and checking my messages app tho :(

Well, AT&T is manually doing this, so its best to check every few hours to see if yours is working.

If you log into your account on AT&T's website, does it show that you have an iPhone text message plan or a regular text plan?

It shows "Messaging 200", thats the plan I always had. But MMS has never worded before.

Yeah, I guess it's quite possible they'll roll it out area by area and then send out a text once everyone has it. ATT is usually slow putting out those kind of texts.

One more question, sorry  Had you just synched your iphone or restarted it? I'm wondering if it requires that, or if it'll randomly just work.

I did sync it in the morning to install a new app. Otherwise didn't do anything else.

I spoke with an Apple tech rep through the business number at AT&T, the guy was very pleasant, I originally called about the visual voicemail we got to talking all things apple and technology, I inquired about MMS and he stated that, it will not have to be pushed out through an update or anything.

So, they may just be doing it by region.

But when/as they do it, you won't have to download anything through iTunes or upgrade anything..
