MobileMe expired. Its possible just to keep the email addy without paying 4 it?

Although my Mobile Me account expired I still can use my Mobile Me email addy on Ichat so I was wondering if Apple has some special price just to keep the email addy cause I dont care about idisk, storage, calendar, photos etc.
