Among other things, it includes:

3. New AlertDashboard

Really coming along nicely. Too bad he's taking a break from it.

I noticed that when you press either of the two buttons on the left in Mobile Reply the "pressed" version of the icon is not retina...gets all fuzzy when you tap it. Minor gripe! Also, don't really like that it uses spell check on incoming texts in the preview...

1. Can't activate apps from the lockscreen
2. Same notification sound for everything.
3. Doesn't work with BiteSMS
4. Doesn't notify you of emails.
5. Hardly any way to customize the app at all.

It's definitely Apple's way of doing things and it would be great if apple actually implemented something like this, but on a jailbroken device with BiteSMS and lockinfo available this app is useless. Not sure why this is getting so much coverage on the blogs.

Beta 4 did that too. Since I don't use the default SMS tone I just renamed it and have my custom SMS tone back. No biggie.

Really? Whenever I get ESPN alerts or BeeJive messages, it never played it twice. I just get the default sound for each app. Now, if you're only talking about the SMS app, then I do use the default so it didn't bother me.

Hmmm... Tried installing twice but kept rebooting in safe mode. Think it's not playing nice with LockInfo, but don't have time to troubleshoot now. Will work on it later.

Anyone else see this with beta 5?

So, you tried to install Beta 5 of MobileNotifier but phone won't exist safe mode? Never seen this before, what makes you think this is related to LockInfo?

Each time after reloading springboard, the lock screen came up and, when it would normally start to populate the LockInfo items, it would crash.

Again, just a very basic analysis now... Will play later with different packages I have on the phone and see what's what.

I run both apps, plus biteSMS, and have had no problems. I'm still trying to figure out the benefits of Mobilenotifier. With Lockinfo and biteSMS, it's not clear.

Here's a pretty simple guide on how to get MN, BiteSMS and LockInfo to play nicely together. http://theforbiddenapples.wordpress...info-the-seamless-and-beautiful-relationship/

The only little niggle is that I miss the BiteSMS emoticons in unlocked mode but this works pretty darn good now

This seems to work fantastic for me. My BiteSMS emoticons still work, but that's because the MobileNotifier icon never seems to appear in my status bar. No big deal though, I'm happy with the combo!

the only problem i see is that the time between releases took too long. His final release was released only a few days before WWDC. I know there isn't concrete evidence that the notifications will be revamped but still.

As TC25 stated above, since I have both LockInfo and biteSMS, I am having a hard time seeing the benefit of MobileNotifier.
