Mojave and HFS+

Im formating Mojave to HFS+

My qurstion is that ive read somewhere in forums that Mojave does not support this format any more but why is that im able to format to it?

Im on rMBP 2013

I think you can use hfs but you won’t be able to get updates in the future. I can’t find the post where I read that though.

You CAN run Mojave in HFS+.

In fact, yesterday I downloaded the public release, and got it installed and running on an external SSD formatted to HFS+.

There is a trick to getting updates, you have to have a second Mojave drive kept in APFS to do so.
