I have had my Mac mini M1 for a year now. Running the latest macOS 12.0.1. Recently, whenever I try to wake the computer from sleep, the displays never fully come on. The back lights on the monitors come on with a dark screen. Only the cursor is shown. I have to unplug the monitors from the back of the mini to get the picture to show up. This just recently starting happening more and more to now it’s every time I try to wake it up. Anyone else ever experience this? I recently upgraded to a 4K LG 27UK850 connected with usb-c as my main display scaled to 1440. I also now have my old Dell U2717D 1440p connected with HDMI as a secondary display. Any ideas on what’s causing this? Thanks for any help.

See if anything in this thread can assist. For me, from time to time, I have to wait 15-20 seconds for the screen to display. Just weird...

Have a Mac mini M1 running Big Sur 11.6.1 with a LG 24MD4KL monitor connected via TB 3 and a LG 27UP600 connected via HDMI to USB-C and have zero issues.

Don't put the Mini "to sleep".
There's next-to-no-difference in power consumption between a "sleeping" Mini and an "awake, but idling" Mini.

Instead, put the DISPLAYS to sleep. Let the Mini "just sit there, idling but not sleeping".
You can set this up with the energy saver pref pane and the desktop/screen saver pref pane.

Then, try running this way for a week or so.
It just might solve the problems you're having.
