Nice - you using a screen protector?
Not in those pics no
Will be adding a sgp ultra crystal SP when it gets here though
I used this all day and it's simply just an awesome bumper

That is tempting. I picked up an Incase Slider Case and I'm not real happy with it so back it goes.
yea man for only $10 shipped priority, it's a straight copy of the apple bumper
why not happy with the incase, they are usually one of my fav case makers
I have used and liked them in the past, but the power button is really recessed in the case and it's a pain to turn off and on, not something I want to live with for a $35 case. It's also a bit bulkier than I remember the one I used on my iPhone 4 - maybe I am too used to the Incipio Feather case I was using on my 4S.
You really need to re-read your post. You state one thing, and then you completely contradict yourself. You go on to say how you need a case to protect your phone from surfaces and then you finish your post with "It's a smartphone, it's all about the screen" ... Pretty funny.
A case is not needed on the new iPhone 5 but if it gives you peace of mind, so be it... It's your phone and you can do as you wish. The phone is easy to replace if an incident occurs. It's like putting a cheap plastic coating on top of your BMW.
Again, my original comment is valid... A case like this cheapens the look of the phone, in my opinion.
There's nothing cheap about the iPhone 5, the bumper allowing the full back and full face to be completely exposed. Minimal protection from the elements is required, only a fool would go naked or bury the thing in a heavy-duty case. The iPhone was made for a bumper, thus the reason so many of us prefer them.

If the iPhone was made for a bumper, why did Apple stop selling them when the 5 came out?

I'm really interested in the Monoprice bumper. How are the buttons on the bumper? How easy is it to press the volume and power buttons on the bumper? Does using the bumper make the buttons harder to press than they are naked? If at all, how much harder?I also bought the Monoprice bumper and I must admit its worth the money I paid. I bought five bumpers. I have one on my phone and my wife has one.
Does this mean that this bumper doesn't make the volume and power buttons harder or hardly any harder to press? I want to know because the last case I used made the buttons very hard to press.I thought the rubber buttons wouldn't give proper tactile feedback, but they work just fine![]()
Pathetic mind-set of yours. Millions of dollars and years of research and development didn't go into a phone for you to put a $1 peice of plastic on it... If you think the iPhone 5 was MADE to be used with a bumper, you have some serious issues.

Pathetic mindset of yours to think that your opinion is the only valid one.
His opinion is quite accurate.
Also, let us know if this bumper and the Poetic bumper scratch the aluminum sides of the phone like the Apple one did to my 4. I stopped using the bumper system since then and am skeptical of any bumpers now.
One day in and not a scuff anywhere on the device
I feel all these hard shell, slider type cases for the 5 would scratch the aluminum super easy.
I think a bumper is best for the non clumsy type who want simple
Only 2 downsides...the sleep/wake a little rough to use (volume buttons work great) but I've seen worse, and the lightning adapter doesn't fit into the phone perfectly with the bumper on...but if u check my pics, it's an easy fix.
$10 and not needing another bumper until SPIGEN SGP Neo Hybrid EX drops

It probably will. I wouldn't think that the bumper is too tight to spare a mm or two for a screen protector.Sorry for my lack of bumper knowledge, will this fit over a phone with ghost armor or another wrap?
