A little amusing when people complain about the price when a single charger for the watch costs close to this price. And don't get started on the price of wrist bands for the Apple watch and the scraps of leather for the air tag that would be throw away material but now costs $350 because... Apple!

Not something I would use, my devices are all pretty much always at 100%, watch charges every night and easily lasts a day, phone sits on a charger all day at work, plugged into the car while driving, I go to bed with 90 - 95% battery. I assumed everyone would charge their devices over nice, at least the watch which is why I don't really care about fast charging for my Apple watch.
The problem with AW is that people may want to use it for sleep tracking. In this case you benefit greatly from faster charging, since you need to reach 100% battery just during your morning routine. And unlike with phones, charging AW at work isn't a solution for everyone either. Having a watch always on your wrist is the main point of a smart watch, and having to take it off for charging takes away from the experience.

Most people on this forum who mentioned the sleep tracking stated that they simply charge it in the morning while they are showering go or even one guy said he charges it in the car during his commute.

several users have mentioned the belking 3-in-1 as alternative (the new one with the flat design):

i personally like its minimalistic, apple-like design, and it would look pretty anywhere in a house or appartement. the mophie would probably not sit as flat on a surface, weighs less, maybe even move around a little when you pick up a watch or an iphone and therefore won't feel as sturdy and premium as the belkin.

i don't care about charging speeds at all. my phone charges over night, my watch is charged after getting up in the morning. imo people put way too much thought into the bullet-points marketing gives us.

the mophie 3-in-1 offers a very mobile and versatile package. i don't travel very often, but if i did, i'd feel more natural packing it than the belking one (or even go all the way back to cable-chaos-city). also: i don't like the approach of belking fixing the cable to the power brick, making it non-detachable on one end and a barrel-plug on the other.

Love it.

More portable than the Belkin 3 in 1,usb-c can be used to charge iPad Pro also.Sure you can go old school and carry all the cables and bricks but this is SO much more tidy, which is kind of the point.>£100 would be better of course but we are in the Apple world here folks.

Buy for me.

I went and pulled the trigger as well…comes tomorrow since the weather is bad and I’m too lazy to drive over to the Apple Store.

I have a trip coming up and want it for that! Will be nice not having to unplug (and even remember) my Apple charger to bring along with me. This will just sit in my work bag and always be there when I need it!

I returned mine today. The MagSafe charger would periodically stop working. It’s odd that the pod wireless would still work on my phone.

To test that it was the mophie and not my phone I used the Apple MagSafe charger. Apple charger was fine.

Haven't even tried mine yet since I fly out Sunday, but plugging in now...thanks!

I somehow managed to get one from Apple really quickly. I had it for almost 2 weeks. It worked fine and then the MagSafe charger stopped working.

I have another garbage wireless charger from Ravpower bought years ago that I should have returned early as soon as I realized it sucked. At least it was cheap. That’s the only good thing I’ll say about it.

Mine arrived 2 weeks ago iirc. So far it works as expected, which in the world of apple means "it just works". The only thing I’d nitpick is that the compartment for the cable in the carrying case could be a little bigger.

Does anyone know how long this device will last if used only for travel and not daily use?
My unit is 2 years old and I could be in serious trouble if the thing stopped working while on an international trip.
