The fact he called it the iWatch would imply he doesnt know much about it or been wanting one...

Doesn't mean much. People on this forum still call it an iwatch. It's a common misperception that it's actually called the iwatch. The same way people have been calling the iPod touch an iTouch for years.

Yeah true I guess. my biggest annoyance working for the company was people calling it an iTouch!!

You watch Top Gear the car series.
They have their "Cool Wall" the cars that are the cool ones to own.

As soon as some pointless celeb or sports star buys one, that car instantly becomes un-cool and NOT the car to be seen with.

Same thing.

Oh and yes, I've just actually ordered a new battery for my watch. Took the old one out, ordered the new one and hopefully will be here tomorrow :)

TopGear? That's that "Car" show from back in the day right?

Actually I'd not want a Rolex for that very reason.

You go online shopping or on Ebay and there are Rolex's for sale everywhere.
I appreciate they are nice watches, albeit with a boring but reliable movement, but I'd rather have someone antique, old, and unusual that are hard to find, even if it's not that expensive, than just another 1 of many many thousand Rolex.

Mass produced and cheap I can deal with.
If I spend real money I'd like something more unique if possible.

This is an example of one of the most controlled human beings I've seen. Not doing/buying something because other people do is exactly the same as doing/buying something because they do. No difference.

They're just easier to type than "iPod touch" or "Apple Watch".

Plus "iWatch" was the expected name for years, so it outranks the new name :)

In either case, there's a big stickie message on the forum that warns people not to waste everyone's time correcting either one.
