It's not really a credit check then, merely a signup page. For a credit check they need your addresses for the last 5 years, job title, salary, etc.
 
The first credit check done by CPW is a very basic one.

The one done by iTunes is basically a check on your address.

So it shouldn't present many problems for people to pass then if it is mainly to confirm address or are they still credit scoring from this too?

Speak to a CPW manager last night he said that it was anticipated that "95% of people would pass the credit check". He said they have enough stock to last them through the weekend, that not many people had been in asking about it and the plan was to open until 8pm unless it was really busy and they would open longer. It is quite a small store with a larger store 1/4 of a mile away that will be open until 10pm. I am planning on just walking in there at 6pm and getting my phone, don't think there will be any queue at all.
