Rentals?

I think we will all be pleasantly suprised tomorrow... or your money back.

RSS - possible
Ringtones - highly likely
Skype, Jah-Jah - no clue
Itunes Video Rentals - Doubtfull

I still think Steve has one more thing to pull out of his hat tomorrow.

:apple:

Hrm...

One of the iPhone reviewers did mention that after you watch a movie on the iPhone, it asks if you wish to delete it...

This would go very well with a rental scheme. You delete the movie, the iPhone immediately tells Apple, Apple tells your desktop computer at home to immediatley download the next movie on your list.

This would be combined with similar functionality on the :apple:tv via a firmware update. (Maybe the same one that added YouTube last week?)

Nah, because it would still be stored on your machine that you used to sync it.

New iMacs Tomorrow

Apple stores are closing tomorrow at 2:00pm in order to get ready for the iPhone launch at 6:00pm, those 4 hours are plenty for the staff to place the new brushed aluminum/black iMac where every customer can see it.

Imagine the iPhone / new iMac side by side!

Wishful thinking? we´ll see in a few hours.

to be honest the stores have way to much stock of the current iMacs for a revision tomorrow.

They wouldn't do that because the iMac would get lost in all the hype about the iPhones. All the news reports would state there was a consumer frenzy to get the iPhones, iPhone this, iPhones that, iPhones are amazing, iPhones now rule the world, iPhones have outsold the Zune on day 1, iPhones are the best thing the world, blah blah iPhones, blah blah iPhones, oh and also a new iMac.

That would be a hell of a lot of missed marketing for the iMac.

1. Price of the bluetooth headset
2. iTunes 7.3 features, 8 tabs or 6 tabs, that

Also, wtf happened to the ipod!? wheres that gone, not a rumor in sight...

too bad the ringtones thing hasnt panned out yet.. i would love to have some kickin tunes for ringtones

Yeah, ringtones, SMS to multiple people, more control over font sizes, additional applications, more existing apps allowed to be landscape, more control over song's bitrates in iTunes (so that I can have multiple copies -- apple lossless AND 192kbps -- one for home and one to put on iPhone), SSH, etc.... I love my iPhone and it was totally worth waiting 10 hours for, but I just want Apple to hook us up with a bit more!
