Why has the U.S store Mac Book Pro got a 512MB card and the U.K. one 256MB?

It seems to depend on where you look. On the cmparison table it says the 2.5 GHz MBP have 512. I suspect that it is 512.

the high end 15 and 17 inch SHOULD read 512 video card, they are fixing the fault.

US and UK ones have different spec on the 17" Us has 512 and Uk 256 VRAM

that totally sucks, there is not reason to have different vid ram sizes 🙁

So, how well does the Black Macbook run WOW? The only reason I would get the MB Pro is for the upgraded graphics, but if the MB plays it OK, then I see no reason to spend the extra $500...
