Dear Apple,

Many of us who wear the smaller 38/40 mm case size have been asking you to offer a 38/40mm version of your iconic leather loop since 2015.

This is... not what we had in mind.

I’d rather wear a cheap knockoff of the original. I had a $20 knockoff that looked good for a year, but eventually started to peel. I’d gladly pay the Apple premium for a higher quality leather loop for 40mm.

You can archive the "They's ugly" comments next to the "Ain't nobody never gonna buy no Apple Watch", the "Ain't nobody wears no watches" and the infamous "Wartches should be round" comments from years past.🤣🤣

No you can’t. “They’s ugly” is an untestable opinion. It’s not like we’re saying “nobody will buy any.”

Very midcentury modern, particularly the tan one. Also, the round rect design is very on-brand with Apple design, and their constant inspiration drawn from Dieter Rams and the Eames:

I don't see these designs being quite the same. The chairs you picture are elegant and modern looking, but the way Apple puts space in between the ribs and pops them out makes them look much less elegant and premium, more like a stuffed down jacket (hmm maybe the bands are insulated with down?!?). If Apple made this band look like the 2nd chair you pictured I think it would actually look super nice.
