Looks EXACTLY like one of those 25 cents vending machine toys you get inside of a laundromat...

I like the original leather loop, but they do t hold up terribly well. Twice now I’ve had the wear down to the magnets in a matter of months... Anybody else have that problem?

Maybe this is thicker leather to address that problem?

If Apple is introducing a new band, I really hope this means that AW6 will stick to the same standards of all the previous series.

A good news for those that spent a small fortune buying additional bands over the last years.

Am I the only one who has an issue typing on this site? Auto correct does the craziest things. I get letters that I know I didn’t type. Capitalization is off.....
No, not the only one. Backspace auto repeat also slows down rather than speed,up.

Maybe I’ll change my opinion when I see them in person, but these look like something you would put on a kids watch.

Meh, the more I look at these the less I like them. I own the original leather band and don't wear it because the magnetic closure opens up too quickly when worn, but they also look too dainty/wimpy for my taste. These new ones are at least tougher looking, but the design of the ribs looks kiddie like along with the plastic looking finish, and of course they still have the same issue of the magnetic closure not being very secure.

What I'd love to see is a traditional flat leather band with a traditional buckle closing (or the same buckle in Apple's rubber bands) but being able to insert into the AW like these. All of the aftermarket AW leather bands have those really ugly cheap looking lugs instead of directly slotting into the AW's slots.

OMG please not!!!!! Looks ridiculous. Seems like I need to get my hands on some of the old ones before they are out of stock.

They look horrible. In any case why do they even need new bands?
Maybe they should concentrate on creating better computer, but I think they forgot... like the ad said What is a computer?
To be fair, the team that creates new bands is not very good at designing computers, so it’s probably better that they stick to bands.

No doubt these will be silly money. I like them but I’ll get a knock off on eBay.

Very midcentury modern, particularly the tan one. Also, the round rect design is very on-brand with Apple design, and their constant inspiration drawn from Dieter Rams and the Eames:

Given the latest extremely ugly bands it does not seem that the team that design bands are very good at designing bands either.
Not arguing with you. Just pointing out that the multiple “they should fix the OS instead” and “they should worry about hardware“ posts are silly.

Yes. Mid 25th century Star Trek prime universe.

I can't believe enough people said "yes this is great let's go with it" for these to make it to market (assuming they do). But with that said, I'm not the most stylish guy so me thinking something is ugly probably means cool kids in their 20's are going to love it.

My favorite band is the sport loop with the velcro. I like simple.

I have 4 leather loops. I will have none of these. Ugly, and since they don't loop, really easy to snatch off someone's wrist!
I have two leather loops, and I think these look fine.

You can archive the "They's ugly" comments next to the "Ain't nobody never gonna buy no Apple Watch", the "Ain't nobody wears no watches" and the infamous "Wartches should be round" comments from years past.🤣🤣

Jony Ive has left the building. The original leather loop offered a refined ruggedness. These look cartoonish.
Jony Ive wanted the watch to be a fashion accessory.

looks cheap. i don't want to jump on the negative band bandwagon but you can definately tell jony ive has left apple!

for the sake of balance still liking my mint colour nike+ sport band :)

I like em! I’ve always wanted a leather loop, but I always go for the gold watch. As goofy as it may sound, I can’t get past the silver metal loop thingy not matching my watch!😩 This will be perfect!
