We obviously know the iPhone 6 will have the same design like the phone shown in the video. But the phone in the video is a fake, it doesn't have Apple's quality look to it. The Chinese can make very good knock offs. Just like the $200-$300 knock off Rolex's you can buy which look almost identical to the real ones.

Treo's had LED notifications. So did my Motorola pager in the 90's. It's not copying. It makes sense for many and if this is accurate then it's nice to see Apple coming on board.

Good grief, voice mail machines from the 1980s or before, had notification lights, seriously Android going to "claim" that as innovaition because it wasn't a smart phone?

I suspect these Goophones and other clones are derived from leaked specs/diagrams/schematics of the actual iPhone 6.

So it wouldn't surprise me if what we see on Tuesday is very close to what we're seeing rumoured today.

In fact the accuracy of these clones may pose a problem with scammers on Craigslist passing these off as real iPhones to unsuspecting buyers.

I just hope the finishing touches is what will make the difference between a cheap clone and a premium refined iPhone.

This is not a rumor but something you will definitely see in the future--7 rows of apps, equipped with OS 8A365, etc.

I'm now hoping the ridiculously thick antenna breaks are like that because they're actually moulded around the antennas themselves rather than being breaks. It would make a lot of sense to do so, both shielding the antenna and freeing it of much of the case interference.

If that's not the case, well then it's just crap design.

I thought iPhone has had LED notifications for years?

My girlfriend has hers set up to flash, and has done for a long time. It's in accessibility settings.

That's not the same. I used that feature for like a day before I annoyed everyone in my office (myself included).

My 4S still works fine. 10 million new phones in a week is wasteful. Phone use rare in replaceable natural elements. I don't want to consume just for the sake of it.

At least that is what I will tell myself and others, as I wait for the 6S.

The new iPhone I personally want, is a sleek iPhone without protruding anything, it should have zero bands of any kind, and I prefer to lose those old fashioned looking bezels.

Old fashioned is what this phone looks like to me. It looks like the original iPhone just bigger.

Childish Rant: Want sleek. Want Screen to fill most of the space without a protrusion or band.

Note. Mind subject to being changed on Tuesday lol.

And all those leaks have no third pary apps installed.

And they haven't shown the "new" passbook app. Convenient

That's the one thing that makes sense. There's basically no way one could smuggle an actual phone out of the warehouse that is running the true GM of ios 8. And that new app isn't in the betas that we can see or it would have leaked way way earlier.

If this is in any way legit, it is a very very fake based on someone that wet worked details of the body out a few at a time. The internals are likely just a current iphone soldered into this fake. Because it's a legit logic board etc it would be nothing for them to load ios 7, torrent the most current beta and update. Heck they might even also be developers so they have legit access to the betas.

How many of those galaxy features are actually useful?

The thing is that different users find different features useful.

If one looks at say 20 of the more odd features I am quite sure that most users interact with at least a handful of them frequently. The key is that it is not the same handful for everyone.

I will never understand why some people think that offering a wide selection of 'secondary features' (none of them which you have to use if you don't want to) is worse than not offering them at all.

This is very true. So true in fact that my coworker a few years back bought an iPhone 4 that turned out to be a VERY good clone. He was getting increasingly frustrated that it was not working right in the office and when I glanced over his shoulder I noticed that it was in fact fake and he flipped out. Bought it on Craigslist. Actually turned out to have been sold in a real iPhone box. Paid 600.00 for it.

nitpicking but shouldnt there be a bigger space between the statusbar and the first row of apps?

Even if this is "fake", which wouldn't surprise me due to the fact that the dude is clearly showing his face... I however do not doubt that this "copy" is pretty much 1:1 of the real thing.

Thus, I am truly disappointed.

The iPhone 6 is really going to be nothing but a slightly larger iPhone 5.

Tim Cook fails.

Apple needs to recognize they're being left behind, their days of market dominance are quickly coming to a close.

...me personally, I'm selling my stock tomorrow, before the keynote.

I'm really going to laugh in two days when we see that those are the real thing and everyone saying "OMG it's obviously a fake" are proved to be wrong.

Seriously! What did the people who hate this design so much expect it to look like? Touch ID wasn't going anywhere soon, and asymmetrical bezels would look terrible. Precedence was already set on the iPod for the camera ring and Apple loves to go thinner.

Both were false. There were tons of pics showing the phone with 3rd-party app(s) installed. In fact they even show that if the app is not optimized for the new display size it will be scaled to full screen. And there was a pics that showed the Passbook app.

It is nice to be able to customize the color and frequency of the blinking to fit different types of notifications though.

Most phones in the pre-smartphone era had notification lights though - it is nothing new at all. For some reason it disappeared (along with the IR-blasters, which thankfully have made a return the last few years) when the iPhone came to market.

I'm pretty sure BlackBerry beat out Android on the integrated notification front. ;)

The phone does look sketchy, but the screenshot could it be the parallex feature?

I really hope it's not true though, the bezel is still too thick.
