The finish doesn't look at all metallic, more like plastic, compare it to the Russian Volks leak and you see a big difference in how the body reflects light. Either he had really crappy direct lighting, or its not the same material.

So anything authentic would never get pulled, I don't think that's how it works.
I think this is for reasons of physics. The device is just too thin for the lenses.

Treo's had LED notifications. So did my Motorola pager in the 90's. It's not copying. It makes sense for many and if this is accurate then it's nice to see Apple coming on board.

It would be great if they could chop 1/3 off of the top bezel. I could live without Touch ID as I've never used it (my nuclear launch codes will be safe).
