LOL, I use ios and android, and none of my devices are made by Samsung. I am writing this on 1 of 4 iPads in my house ( iPads 1, 3, air, and rmini) I am hardly a "fandroid."I do however think that all these lawsuits (by all of these companies) are ridiculous, all these companies use each other's ideas at some point.

Then I take it back what I said, sorry. I was quick to misjudge you. But still don't agree on the rounded corners, it was much more then that.

It would be so great if the presentation started with the CEO addressing the crowd before pointing to the screen and saying "by the way, this is not the iPhone 6" as that Chinese video is shown. Once the euphoria died down, he'd smile and say "this is the iPhone 6" and cue video.

That would probably break the internet.

It's probably just Apple hiring some guys to post fake videos to keep people talking. Then blow us away with the real phones.

Some things are too perfect to be fake but some things are obviously wrong (clock hands and Passbook)

True it was More than that. I was just trying to be concise, and most people seem to remember that part. It's not just Apple, it's all of them to some extent. I was reacting to the remark about the voice mail machines having notification lights in the 80s and was thinking to myself "they all copy something at some time"

Peace.

It's been a staple of b.net for a long time. Not sure what destiny has to do with it, unless you mean that an influx of newcomers to the site started posting it everywhere, which makes sense I guess.
There was an influx of it... especially on gaming forums... after the initial demoing of Destiny showing a guy talking to his friend during the game and he said "my body is ready" ... and everyone seems to have been saying it constantly ever since. >_>

Well the game Destiny is coming out the same day as the keynotes. So.....

That being said, can't wait to see the new phones tomorrow.

I have been waiting to get the new iPhone for a couple of years now especially since my on/off button broke 6 months ago.

The videos are on youtube and apple could request they be removed from there.

The original video was on Youku , which is a Chinese youtube website. Someone just upload a copy of that to youtube. And of course, you can find all sort of "illegal" video on this Chinese Youku website. As I said, no one can touch the China dude except China Government.

If the benchmarks are accurate, then it seems a small update, performance wise. Having said that, the iPhone 5S is very fast already, so any speed increase is welcome. Of course, there is no way stopping people from saying that Android phones are faster, etc...Important is how fast a device is in everyday usage, and not what benchmarks say.

They've focused more on battery life, similar to what intels been doing recently, so should see a lot better battery life and still faster than 5s

I vote fake. We'll know shortly.

curious to see who comes back to this thread after the announcements.

You guys will all see on Tuesday, when Phil Schiller shows the actual iPhone 6 with only 5 rows of apps. I wouldn't keep trying to prove my point if I wasn't sure this device is not genuine.

These are not my theories. They're the theories of Steve Hemmerstoffer, a high up at nowhereelse.fr, the primary source of all of the iPhone 6 leaks. Just check out his twitter: https://twitter.com/stagueve/with_replies

I am tagging you just to tell you that the iphone 6 looks exactly like the chinese dude show in the video. As many ppl told you, if an device can show such kind of detail running IOS 8 on a video, it can't be fake. At most it is not a production product.

This has pretty much been confirmed as FAKE so I wouldn't get too upset. Apple just won't make a phone that looks this disjointed. Remember the fake iPhone 5 when we ended up with an iPhone 4S? Same thing this time... The only difference is that the fake iPhone 5 actually looked pretty good and was a believable Apple design. This one is not.

I'm having a field day reading comments from certain commentators. lol. If only I could read their replies now.

I guess I'll run through the proof.

- Music icon colors are flipped
- Clock hands are too long - It's not the camera angle
- More than one of these supposed phones have been posted online
- Green color of the Phone and Messages apps are pre-iOS 7.1
- The build number of the supposed iOS 8 this phone is running on is lower than that of iOS 8 Beta 5, but seems to include elements we haven't seen.
- The Touch ID sensor appears to be made of plastic
- The aluminum enclosure does not appear to be as high quality as recent leaks
- The Touch ID unlock animation is off
- Touch ID takes too long to register
- The background on the phone is not a stock Apple background, yet it is seen on all 3 of the phones that have "leaked" out.
- The Apple on the back is printed on, not a separate entity.
- There are no additional apps, songs, pictures, or videos on the device, yet something is taking up 700 mb of storage.

Need I say more? And my current phone is a 5s.

Hey, how does that crow taste? LOL

If it were thicker it would also be heavier, especially if you filled that extra space with battery. I'm not really fine with that. I'm pretty sure your obsession with battery life would have ruined the iPhone, if it had been your call.

Thankfully, you can treat the symptoms of your obsession with an external battery case, and Jony Ive's dedication to keeping the iPhone comfortable to hold will work out for the rest of us.

Wow that was an unnecessarily vicious response. I wasn't attacking you (or anyone else) in my post. If you'd rather have the thinner phone with the protruding camera instead of increased battery capacity, that's your preference and I respect that.

Two questions for you: first how would wanting an iPhone with better battery life have "ruined" it? Second, are you really claiming that the current 5/5S design, which is only a few tenths of a mm thicker that the newly announced 6 chasis, is uncomfortable to hold?
