That doesn’t mean anything. The buyer doesn’t care what you payed originally, so there is no “reasonable price”. Also not many people like buying used vacuum cleaners at allNo wonder they went into bankruptcy. Our roomba is so slow and dumb. We were even trying to sell it off but no one was willing to buy it at a reasonable price compared to what we paid originally.
Probably because it’s an uncool name?HUGE missed opportunity for Apple to snag up the iRobot branding. Why would they have passed on this? SMH

Room Vaccum. Room Vac. Roomba.first time I'm hearing about Roomba , imho weird name.
Tell me you’re neurotypical without telling me you’re neurotypical… 🙄I like gadgets, but i draw the line at these kinds of things... No wonder people get fat and lazy, they can't even bother to vacuum their homes.
If your an American you should be concerned.…and that affects you how?

To be fair, they tried to sell themselves to Amazon a couple years ago but if I remember correctly antitrust pressure from EU and the US stopped the sale (and essentially guaranteed it would end up in China’s hands for cheap).

Apple is late. Beening using voice control (start, stop, etc), for years now using alexa.
Agree these vacuum if run regularly make a huge difference. I want a mop/vac combo eventually, likely a roborock since these have earned high praise. I run 3x a week and it makes a difference and I don't open the app regularly it just runs while I am at work.I tried a cheap robot vacuum about 10 years ago and it wasn’t a great experience. It needed constant taking apart to clean hair out of it, constant emptying the bin, and the nicad battery died after a year and a replacement cost as much as the robot, and it couldn’t get into the laundry as entrance has a small 28 mm threshold. Went back to once a week vacuuming and a bit less frequent mopping by hand. My excuse is no dog atm and the kids are grown.
We just bought a higher end Roborock on Black Friday sales (yes matter support) vac/mop. The difference is obvious with daily vacuuming and twice weekly mopping. And all those problems identified above are addressed and then some. After a month it would be hard to go back. We just need to do a quick hit with the stick vacuum every now and again behind some furniture rocky can’t get at, and clean the skirting boards. And that’s it.
It’s comical that people think the layout of their houses are relevant for foreign governments.Great way for the Chinese to map your house.

I’m not sure I’d ever go down the smart vacuum route. I find cleaning quite therapeutic, and love to see the difference to my carpets in real time. And it’s good exercise (especially dragging my Henry around!)
