Wasn't it just like a year or two ago that all you brits were addicted to snake? Spore should help things on the "Tube." ;)

I'm thinking that a canny developer should be working flat out on multiplayer games you could do on a 30-40 minute Tube commute.
Brrrr, here's to Apple freeing us from awful Java games, and giving us well, Java game ports of a better quality for a start ;)

just remember that we live in a fan boy bubble. Very few people are particulary interested in the 3g iPhone and even fewer will be beating down the doors at o2 come next Friday

Thay are many and we are few. Rejoice!

I don't know 200k interest for a tiny country like England sounds pretty good.

That would be like 1 million people in a real sized country.

The UK has about 70million people, a pretty high population density!

Plus, the concept and design and idea of the iPhone came from a Briton. [1]

[1] This is a lie

Ouch!
This "non-real sized country" has a 3G iPhone launch before the U.S. (quite a nice change after last year). And has a decent 3G and upcoming HSDPA network coverage to boot. And a growing Wifi network covering several thousands places through the country.

<smug british hat on just to wind up our American friends>

Ah, thanks - it was a fair guess :)

Anyway. Enough silliness. We're all completely bonkers and I'm watching one of the greatest Wimbledon finals in history. Who needs an iPhone?

How can you quote the URL and yet still spell his name wrong?

Jonathan. ;) People are *always* misspelling our name

Haha! Apologies for that, I'll correct it as I normally pride myself on spelling & grammar!! That'll teach me! :D

o2 idiots

I for one as well as many will be ringing my local store on thursday to make sure they have 16gb iPhones in stock (preferably a White one) hopefully they might know something by then. But then again it is o2 were talking about here. I can't really see there being lines outside o2 stores, but then again I could be proven wrong.
:p looking forward to seeing snake on the iPhone :p

I remember the lines at my local Apple store in Birmingham for the first iPhone - there were plenty of people, but there are allot more O2 & CPW stores in Birmingham and around the West Midlands than there are Apple stores - so even though more people seem to be interested this time around, they will be a bit more 'spread out' across all the O2 and CPW stores. I'm hopeful that it won't be /too/ hard to get hold of them here.

Now, in America, it seems to be a different story ;)
