Anyone know the difference between the glass and the xt such as which one covers the curved edges better?
cant really tell much from the pics but hope they help satisfy some of your curiosity until i can get it installed or someone else posts pics of theirs!
did my best to take a profile pic showing the rounded edge. it does indeed look flat underneath the rounded edge but you also have to remember that the adhesive paper backing is still attached in the picture.
i believe the screen part and clear sections for the cameras do not have adhesive which is true to the ivisor glass line.
thanks for the post. how much of the curved edges does it actually cover? if at all? from the pics it looks straight like any other ones out there. how are you finding the black borders bottom and top?
hopefully my replacement 6+ will come in today so ill be able to answer that question for you.
side note: my nillkin protector should be in today as well so ill try to post some side by side pics comparing the moshi and the nillkin from ebay. IF my replacement gets here ill also install the moshi and post pics.

Thanks for the initials pics. Would eagerly wait to see how it comes out on the iphone. By the way I have the benks one on my 6 as of now which is holding up quite ok for a few weeks alongwith iBlason halo case.
Sometimes I feel like we will end up spending more than the screen replacement cost![]()
Here is the nilkin protector( the real version not the fakes ones on ebay) for the 6 plus that I have. It is very smooth when I swipe the phone screen and I think it's pretty great for the cheap price that I paid for. Here are some pic of it. Sorry if the shots are blurry/not good. One hand and using a ipad air is hard lol...
On the iphone 6plus
got a buy link for this?
ok so got my replacement, the nillkin, and the moshi now. will have pics tomorrow. for now, my first impressions will have to do since im short on time.
Nillkin vs Moshi
my observations:
-Moshi is slightly thinner(width wise duh)
-Moshi is slightly thicker(depth wise)
-Moshi oleophobic coating is better(slicker)
-Moshi has a grid pattern because(i think?) the viewable window does not adhere to the iphone screen
-Moshi wil be easier to clean(still a pain if you get dust underneath though). Wtb a clean room
-Cut outs for both seem almost identical in terms of positioning on the protectors
-Both protectors extend over the curved portion of the iphone screen with the moshi covering slightly less than the nillkin
my thoughts:
I'll definitely keep both since I think they both have their slight strengths and weaknesses but I think if you want to save some money the Nillkin isnt a bad purchase. As far as being a "curved" glass protector that adheres to the curved portion of the screen like white on rice, the moshi isnt. It basically does the same thing the Nillkin, the iloome, and any other "curved" protector does. That is, just extend straight over the curved portion of the iphone screen. The fact that the moshi is slightly thinner(width wise) will help those trying to use a protector with a case that protrudes slightly over the curved part of the glass. However, as I only have a spigen neo hybrid I can only confirm whether or not it is compatible with that.
I do dislike the grid pattern but i like that the protector does not adhere to the screen portion. This allows the moshi to be removed and cleaned whereas a fully adhered protector(aka nillkin, iloome) is pretty much single use and game over if you get a dust particle stuck underneath it.
In the end which one is my favorite? Neither and both. If you dont have the funds youll be fine with the nillkin, if you have a little spare change go for the moshi.
Ill try to post pics ASAP but my schedule is full until tomorrow. Sorry about the wait but ill try to make the pics good!

some observations about the moshi:
-the fact that theres a gap between the screen and the protector causes some presses to not be registered. not sure if thats because i installed it wrong(which i dont think i did) or because the sensitivity is an issue due to the gap, or maybe because im updating my phone and its busy due to all the apps being installed. will continue to update as i find new things.

If there's a grid on the Moshi, to my knowledge that means you got the XT and not the glass. I was under the impression that only the plastic SPs had a grid and the glass version didn't
where to buy an original? link pls. no ebay. can you post picture of the edges, is there an air gap, I mean is the edge protector of Nillkin lips to lips with the curved glass of the iPhone? thanks
----------
what do you mean by grid? can you post a picture? does the nillkin clear glass screen has adhesive? Moshi's clear glass does not have adhesive as you said.
i don't know if i like that the screen part does not have adhesive...i could totally see the touch screen being affected.
so let me get this clear, both don't really curve over the curved edges? just extend a bit? i don't understand how much of the curved edge it actually covers.
In for pics...
