Check the pictures I posted earlier. The product name says "iVisor Glass". It is not the XT and is definitely not made of PET it is glass.

----------

I do not have a link to another place other than eBay. It's where I bought mine from. I will post pictures tomorrow as I am not home and won't be until later tonight. As far as the lip I mentioned earlier it is similar to the benks and iloome. It's curved on the top and then flat underneath so it does not contour the curves of the iPhone glass. Instead it covers the curved portion. If this still doesn't make sense I hope the pictures will clear things up. As far as the grid pattern is concerned if you look at the glass from a 45 degree angle you can see a grid pattern of dots on the screen. I'm assuming they help the touch sensitivity as there is a gap between the protector and the visible iPhone screen. Think of an air sandwich. Screen protector, air, iPhone screen.

Yes but there is a small portion of the screen that is not covered by the moshi. The nillkin should cover the entire area.

The other gap I was talking about only pertains to the moshi around the visible screen area.

The gap between the screen and the edge of the protector, is it filled with silicone like the iLoome or is it just an "air gap" like the illustration above? Does that part have adhesive?

From underneath the lip it looks like nothing and then you can see something that appears to be extra silicone adhesive. It does not fully span the gap though. Pics will do more justice than my description. Tomorrow!

initial pics of the moshi

the first pic and last pic is without a case showing the unprotected border i was talking about in my initial post.

the grid is clearly seen in all pics. to be honest you dont quite notice it during normal use but you can definitely see it at certain angles and when you're out in the sun or under bright lights.

the second and third pic show the protector with my spigen neo hybrid case.

Why are there dots? It already accumulate dirt at the edge?? Can you post the side views, top or bottom? Thanks

so here are some more observations i had about the moshi.

-the sensitivity can suck at times and its really really really annoying
-when you type or touch the screen you definitely feel a depression. also annoying.
-the sides collect lint/dust. again, annoying.
-the clarity is very good.
-the build quality is very good.
-install is really easy

so, what do i think? well, im not keeping it. going to be returning it and have already installed the nillkin. i actually really enjoy the nillkin.

the touch sensitivity is perfect, the oleophobic coating isnt as good as the moshi but it does what its supposed to, there is no grid pattern, it covers the full iphone screen/glass, and best of all its cheap.

do i have any gripes about the nillkin? yes, but just the fact that i dont have to press super hard to type and the sensitivity isnt spotty is worth the every so slightly less build quality, and the fact that its nearly impossible to not get dust underneath it when installing it.

anyways, i hope this helps you guys decide whether to buy the moshi or not but im returning mine. i was really hoping that the moshi would be the screen protector i thought itd be but it wasnt. for now, the nillkin will do.

i dont know why the dots are there. thats something youll have to email moshi about. the protector is definitely the iVisor glass though and NOT the XT. i do have some other pictures i need to upload of the moshi but you can read some more impressions i wrote. basically, im not keeping the moshi.

yes, thats dirt/lint/dust accumulating at the edges. really really really annoying but not as annoying as the lack of touch sensitivity.

Very much appreciate this. Put in my order for the 6 yesterday.

youre welcome! might want to cancel that order though. :(

Thanks for the input . I don't like the dots. Very obvious.

please post nillkin's image and the sides.

bad news... i just reviewed the pics i took on my dslr and none of the side pictures came out and ive already taken the moshi off because i didnt like it. basically, think of the nillkin sideview but it doesnt hang off as much because it there is a border around the edge of the iphone screen that isnt completely covered. imagine the nillkin and shrink the size just a bit. also, it does not have anything that will fully cover the gap but theres just enough adhesive that it collects dust/lint.

theres plenty of nillkin pictures in the forums. ill try to get some though.

Moshi iVisor glass for iphone 6/6+ is out!

So disappointed in the Moshi, so I guess the Nillkin it is, which I did find on Ebay, but the shipping is so long from China. How long did it take for you to get yours?

Do you think nillkin will work wit Apple silicone case?

It took me roughly two weeks to get mine shipped to California. You can message them via eBay to kind of remind them to ship it asap but that boat ride from Shenzhen takes a while. I did go to the nillkin website and with the help of my gf(she's chinese) verified that the eBay one I got was indeed authentic.

I can't help you with that one as I don't own an apple case. Not really a fan of the price and the fact that it's only silicon or a leather snap on case. The shock absorption and rigidity for the 6+ doesn't seem that great.

Thanks for the thorough reviews + pics. I decided not to go with moshi. i too hoped that moshi would the one but dots, sensitivity, and price gave it away for me. guess im going to get the nillkin. post links plz?

There is plenty on eBay, I don think anyone would fake them, only 6 dollars in China (taobao.com)

np for the review. as far as the nillkin i just searched ebay. i was not able to find a link to any online stores for it. if youre concerned about the authenticity of the ebay nillkins you can check on the nillkin website for authenticity. mine was. cant really say for all ebay vendors though and like the previous poster not sure that itd be lucrative to fake an already cheap screen protector lol.

ordered nillkin. just picked the first vendor that came up when i searched for it. it looks pretty decent for the price. i think its the most decent one out there that covers around home button and also the top. i'll let you know once i put it on but that'll be like end of november...i think its coming by a ship...

its on a boat!

jokes aside for the price it seems the best out for the time being.

Thanks for posting. I'll pass!

Thanks for the Moshi review.

Are there 2 different versions of the Nillkin glass? I think I saw one that just covers the screen without going over the edge, and another type that has the same colored adhesive border as the iLoome. Is this true?

If so, which is the one that you are recommending?

The version with the colored border

I've had the same reaction as ptahkeem. Swipping and clicking is extremely difficult with Moshi. Plus I am hearing visible clicks.

It's being returned. And I just ordered Nillkin protector.

PS I think the part of the problem is the Apple Leather case I am using with Moshi. It seems to effect it, leading to clicking noises and other issues.
