When Ahhnold shouts out his battle cry to challenge the Predator!

When Lewis (Burt Reynolds) skewers that raping hick with his mighty bow in "Deliverance." That scene sent shivers up my spine!

Children of Men:
The scene where Luke (Chiwetel Ejiofor) is driving the car and has to stop and reverse to escape the mob of people chasing them. 2 people on a motorbike throw a molotov cocktail at the car, setting the windscreen on fire. The bikers pull up to the side of the car and Theo (Clive Owen) whips open his door to knock the bikers down. What really got me was that this scene was done all in one cut. Simply amazing!

The Fugitive:
The scene where the prisoner starts choking eventually leading to the bus being hit by a train. Great action sequence!

Saving Private Ryan:
The Omaha Beach scene stands out as possibly the best war scene ever filmed in motion picture history.

The Matrix:
Neo and Trinity take on the building security unit. Classic scene with a good tune.

No Country for Old Men:
The scene where Llewelyn gets hit with the door knob and then escapes out the hotel window. Anton's suppressing shotgun fire put me on the edge of my seat every time I watch it.

Heat:
The bank robbery / escape scene is absolutely stunning. No sound effects were used in the scene. The machine gun fire is deafening and completely realistic.

Collateral:
The scene where Max (Jamie Foxx) is robbed by thugs. When Vincent (Tom Cruise) comes to the 'rescue,' makes it a very powerful scene. Again no sound effects. Thank you Michael Mann!

xXx:
The escape from the farm in Columbia is explosive and filled with great action and stunts.

Kiss of the Dragon - almost every fight scene in that blew me away.

Too bad so many of those scenes where folly choreographed, but it was a decent movie. The two brothers scene was amazing, and hyped with the Mistikal rapping ... it just suited that scene so well. That smaller blonde of the two brothers was also in Rumble In the Jungle.

Amongst the best of the Martial Arts scene ... Drunken Master!

But my personal favorite ...

Brandon Lee vs Al Leong ...

Rapid Fire! Check out the Jeet Kune Do, the proper use of the boxing feints (shouts go to Ali for that) ... nothing too stylistic save for the props and the fence walk. Should Brandon be alive today ... I don't think Ong Bak star would've had a chance but a meeting in the same movie would've been decent.

PS: check out the serious close combat fist speeds ... remarkable.

Pulp Fiction was pretty much great scenes from start to end but this one stood out above the rest.

And I absolutely love the scene in Inglorious Basterds when the gang bust out Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz, I couldn't stop smiling..

Pulp fiction

Samual J "now reach down there and grab me out my wallet out that bag..."

wussy "which ones yours?..."

SJ "the one that says 'Bad mutha Fugga..."

Bram Stoker's Dracula - When Vlad stabs the cross and blood gushes out. Freakin' sweet.

From Dusk 'til Dawn - Selma Hayek dancing with the snake. - HOT!

In no particular order...

Rapid Fire: I'd have to choose the scene where he's in the bad guy's den, the cops are outside but are pinned down by gunfire, and Brandon has to take down almost the entire room. Great.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: the scene in Dorian Gray's study/library, where the Fantom's gunsels have the League trapped, until a disguised Tom Sawyer creates an opening. Then you have Captain Nemo kicking serious ass, Sawyer and Allan Quartermain shooting several bad guys, the Invisible Man bitchslapping a guy using a big book, and Dorian Gray taking a full clip of bullets at close range, then taking the guy out. "What are you? I'm complicated." Then a straggler grabs Mina Harker at knifepoint, right before she turns on him and bites his throat out. Awesome.

Steven Segal in Hard to Kill. The guy can't act his way out of a paytoilet but he gives great fight scene.

Most of the lightsaber battles from the Star Wars prequels. Yeah, the movies weren't great but still... Darth Maul vs. Qui-Gon and Obi-wan. Obi-Wan & Anakin v. Count Dooku v. Yoda. Yoda vs. Palpatine/Sidious. Anakin vs. Obi-Wan. Fantastic.

The scene in transformers 2 where they are in the woods is pretty sweet.

And has anyone mentioned the phone scene from Taken?
