as long as we see the word 'glass' in the description it means it's breakable
Regardless of the expression the toughest etc etc it's still going to break under the proper circumstances
This is the trade off for. Wireless charging

Lol...most durable.

I look at it the same way the ip67 rating on the phone...if you get it wet or it survives a dunk w/o damage...then great.

But if it did get water-damaged...Apple won't do a thing for you.

Same thing here.

For me personally....I don't mind the glass back. I kinda like it because it is different.
I know that i can put a case on it and wireless charging will still work. For me the trade off is worth it.
Then the term "Most Durable" is just marketing speak.

Real life drop test didn't turn out so well. This slippery devil slid off the arm of my recliner onto a tile floor. Maybe 2 feet. Still waiting for the case to arrive. :(

Wife left a 6S+ on top of her car and it fell off onto road. No cracks/damage. Same phone fell in house on hardwoods and cracked. Drop you phone, expect damage.

Anything can happen on a drop

The tough glass is ********

I’m sure Apple would create a glass that is shatterproof but that would eventually cost them money down the road with less to no screen repairs

I feel like this is said every single year, but I will say it again this year (haven't read the entire thread). Tougher the glass is, more brittle it becomes, making it more susceptible to shattering.

Not necessarily. Insurance is picking up the tab. Additionally, geniuses and other technicians will have to resolve the matter meaning man hours.

Insurance? The point is most people are paying out of pocket to replace a screen..

THats money for Apple lol
