wtf?
They left my $250 Nano at the door!
They always deliver to my house around 1-2pm, right when I have class. I always get those stupid "Sorry we missed you" notes and then I have to call and either pick it up myself at their main office, or have it delivered to my parents house. Screw that.

It's not Microsoft

I hate to say it, but it's not Microsoft that I have the problem with. Heck, they've been rather nice about supporting us Mac users. It's the people who support Microsoft that bother me, not MS themselves. :)

Sony - same bad luck as many above. Plus, you'd think they could hire someone to design their remote controls to be usable.

Manpower - I ran a college, had a masters, and type 72 WPM, and they best they could do was to have me paint at a facility for sexual offenders?

Jenni-O - For driving out Louis Rich ground turkey from most stores. Sorry, but I don't want my ground turkey to crunch, thank you. Keep your bones to yourself.

Office Depot - I went there once and had such a bad customer service experience that I'll never go back. It takes a lot to not get a second try from me. (Story's too long.) Staples and Office Max both rock.

Mendards - your spokesman needs to be put to sleep or at least locked somewhere where he can't annoy me. And you need to decide - are you a hardware store, or a home decorating store. Pick one. Right now, you're not doing either well. Lowes rocks.

I'm sure there are more, but I'm in too good of a mood to think about bad companies. :)

So nice of them not to request that you also attend their group therapy sessions, which I am sure effectively rid them of their demons. Yeah right.

Orange!!!

No no no... Orange are one of my loved companies.. Sorry, but what is wrong with Orange? Funny ads, and nicely designed products, tariffs, and contracts. Nicely designed site too. :)

Where to start? When to stop?!!!

MacDonald’s/BK - The crap they serve, their lack of "soul" in their dealings with the planet and their employees. And their rabid invasion of the former Soviet Union & Central Europe, destroying diversity and cultural difference.

Hollywood - SKG et al for all the sentimental Pentagon written crap that they spoon-fed the world. See above.

Pharma companies/Animal Testing Labs/Cosmetic companies who vivisect. Let everyone responsible feel the sorrow and pain they inflict.

Lockheed/Halliburton/Federal Reserve/The EU/UN/IMF etc etc Dollar & power worshippers spreading misery, poverty and lies to every corner of the globe.

The Oil Companies. Polluters & murderers.

Judaism/Christianity/The Vatican etc. The same.

Ones I like?

Greenpeace - plain & simple, heroes.

Di Fossey's mini militia protecting gorillas. Each one anonymous, poorly paid but still helping preserve the soul of the world by ensuring the safety of these animals.

Gordon Smith Guitars. Beautiful.

Castle Speakers of North Yorkshire, Angleterre. The sound, the craftsmanship.

Telstra - and you Americans think you have bad telecommunications services.... you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Microsoft - for not making an OS secure enough to resist the virus attacks that wiped all my uni work back when I was a PC user.

McDonalds - for being the chosen food of bogans.

KFC, Burger King, Hungry Jacks, Red Roo(s)ter, Pizza Hut - just cause.

Apple - for taking all my money away.

Telstra again.

Rogers Canada - for sticking with voice recognition when simply entering numbers would be faster and easier.

Canadian Mobile Phone providers - for making me pay to RECEIVE calls!! I mean, WTF! Who pays for calls they don't make? That's stupid. And what's the go with having a mobile number that's the same as a land-line number? I bought a phone in Vancouver and had to change the number a week later so that I could call numbers in my new local area without getting charged "long-distance." It's a mobile phone, there is no such thing as long distance. Why can't they just have a mobile area code (like the 04 we have here) and charge the same rate for all calls? I could go on and on!!

I think most of the USA pays for calls they don't make. Sorry, another bad habit we've infected the world with.

Ditto. US Cellular is the only company I know of who gives you free incoming calls.

What a great reason. Dont bother basing your decisions on which product is better. Just base it on their ads.

Considering Nike's corporate offices approved the ad, yes. I will not buy shoes from a company that is okay with:

"Fortunately, the Air Dri-Goat features a patented, goat-like out sole for increased traction, so you can taunt mortal injury without actually experiencing it. Right about now you're probably asking yourself, "How can a trail running shoe with an outer sole designed like a goat's hoof help me avoid compressing my spinal cord into a Slinky on the side of some unsuspecting conifer, thereby rendering me a a drooling, misshapen, non-extreme-trail-running husk of my former self, forced to roam the Earth in a motorized wheelchair with my name, embossed on one of those cute little license plates you get at carnivals or state fairs, fastened to the back?" "

I'll have to go with Bic. Apart from Sheaffer and Wite-Out, all their product lines (at least the ones availabe in the US) just exude junkiness.

What doesn't suck (Greenpeace and other charities don't count, they aren't companies... and even they suck on occasion)? They all piss me off sometimes. Just some more than others. Even Apple.

Yes I would

Would you regard this as a "Brand/Company"?

It's the afterlife branded. It's the branding of " The Truth" Even good and bad - jews good, muslims bad blahblah.

Someone said Manpower - good call. But don't forget Alfred Marks & Reed. Whenever I pass one of these places I am always reminded of the scene in Nic Roeg's Eureeka when Gene Hackman screams "I've never earned a penny from another man's sweat!"

Which leads me to all those sports brands that make goods in sweatshops like Nike, Addidas etc.

If a mobile provider here tried to make people pay for incoming calls they'd get run out of town by a very angry mob. It's the one thing I will say for our telecommunications systems - the mobile phone system is very well done.

Your mobile number is unique - it doesn't resemble land line numbers, call costs are timed (mostly in 1 second intervals) and are the same whether you're calling next door or across the country, also, anyone who calls you instantly knows if they are dialing a mobile phone. Calls are only charged if you are doing the dialing and the competition is pretty good that a lot of companies give pretty sweet deals (I have a prepaid phone and if I recharge with $30 I get 60 free SMS and 100 minutes free to anyone with the same provider - free stuff goes up with more money).

Cable & Wireless because (from past experience) they provide an utterly ***** service. It's such a shame that Bulldog Broadband were bought out by C&W because they used to be an excellent small ISP and now their customer service also stinks.

Nokia basically because i hate their handsets. A Nokia phone i once had literally fried my ear every time i used it. and they feel so cheap and tacky.

McDonalds because i'm a vegetarian and i hate fast food outlets like that. Sorry McD's, but you're not a "restaurant". Their advertising campaigns also get on my nerves.... especially the one that ran here in the UK last year or whenever it was with "Joanna... who's always late". They were trying to promote salads and stuff and making it look like some sort of cool Friends or Sex and the City style hangout. Oh please...

SunnyD because that stuff looks and smells so revoltingly artificial. (and yes, you can argue that i'm using "dietcokevanilla" as my handle here, but i'm talking about drinks that are aimed at kids and promoted as being good for you, yet are totally packed full of artificial colours, sweeteners and other kinds of crap.)

Ocean - a contemporary furniture/interiors store based in the UK. Their products are actually very good but their delivery service and customer service are possibly the worst I have ever experienced.

Any fast food resteraunt in the world, i hate them all, ruins cultural diversity in food all over the world. I dont want a mc f**ken burger with mc f**ken fries

Microsoft - Deceitful, bloated, overrated, fake, and tricking, people who create bad products and utilize the power a golden fist instead of innovating.

Qwest - The absolutely worst phone company to ever exist. Poor service, poor organization, really, just a pathetic existence of a company.

Budweiser - Crappy beer that makes me think of hicks and car racing.

NASCAR - Crappy sport that makes me think of hicks and budweiser.

Compaq - Making horrible computers for longer than I can remember. Literally they make everything related to them worse in some way or form. Including the people who bought them, HP.

Wal-Mart - Horrible business ethics. Forcing small companies into taking impossible margins, underpaying employees, and cutting corners wherever possible.

Ford - Crap cars that suck gas and are poorly built. Yet, somehow people still blindly follow them like they are some sort of savior.

wow.. that really felt good, thank you.
