I don't seem to hate many companies...yet.

Whats all this anti-Sony? I have never had many problems with their products.

That outdated pushrod technology is kicking ass in the Z06/GTO/F-bodies. ;) Lighter, compact, cheap to repair. The LSx engine is amazing, no doubt.

Edit: And also, you know OHC engines have been around since the 1930s right?

Indeed, I do know my auto history. And I also know that "those" OHC engines did not come wth 4 to 5 valves per cylinder, Variable Valve timing, Direct injection, or optional turbocharging.

The LSx is a good motor, but IMHO far from amazing.

Z06(Cough...Leaf spring...Cough) is a nice machine, and it better get good power being 7000+ CC's! Not my taste, but does good on the track , and will be hard for GM to top.
The GTO was great for 2001 (think Monaro) but in 2005?
F Body is no longer available.

And for the record, I am NOT a Ford driver ;)

The only thing I'm going to say is this. If that technology is THAT amazing, then why didnt they use it? The numbers dont lie. 1.1g on the skidpad, an AMAZING 'ring time, incredibly lightweight.

C6 Z06 is the bargain of the century.

The reason is (and GM says this Flat out) due to the fact that the loyal buyers of these cars don't want to change the "legend".

I would love to have seen this car with some more Technology put into it. Surely GM could have STILL made it as low priced.

I give them props for listening to their buyers, but my issue with GM is more mainstream. The sucsess LSx DOES NOT excuse the 3400, 3800, and other dated engines. Yes they put out good power for what they are, but they also have OLD problems that GM has YET to get fixed correctly.

Bah, who cares about anything other then sports cars? ;)

Wal*Mart-systematically homogenizing the world
MacDonald's-see above
Microsoft-words cannot express what's wrong with Microsoft

Collectively:

Oil companies/investors-greedy bastards manipulating politics throughout the world

Record companies-greedy bastards discouraging creativity in music

Drug companies-greedy bastards focusing on marketing at the expense of research, gouging consumers and the government as a hobby

Insurance companies-greedy bastards disguise the real reasons for premium hikes by blaming regular people (fraud and malpractice suits?!)

Banking industry-now insinuating itself (and the concept of "free money") into the third world in order to make itself even more ridiculously wealthy

Military contractors-nursed to disgusting proportions on the teat of conservative politics, daily defrauding taxpayers

The 3400 is POS. Should die after 2007 I think when the 3400 in the Equinox gets replaced by the 3900. The 3800 is also dying so the Vortec 4200 I-6 can increase in capacity so they can go in the new trucks and finally put the 4.3 V6 to rest. But the 3800 is far from crap. Old yes, but crap no. Pushrod engines from GM have been very reliable and still keep up the the newer tech. Trust me GM's reliability is much better now. What year models of GM cars were you fixing?

I hate EMI or whoever is responsible for the Copy Control Technology, especially when it ruins the album's artwork (I mean, they might as well put a fascio or swastika icon on my cd, that would be less annoying  )
