Everything they've released since at least 1989 has been crap. Up until the early '80s they were awesome.I bet we'll get some interesting responses from Neil Peart fans...

Just my $0.02.
Probably... I've never been a huge Stones fan myself. What about the Rolling Stones, then?
They've been coasting off their pre-1979 material for three decades now!
I find the most important thing The Beatles gave us was advances in recording techniques that led the way for other bands in the studio.
OMG!!!Also:
Hannah Montana
True, though the band popularized it. Besides, most people wouldn't know Emerick any better than they know Pi to the 40th decimal place, hence my generalization. As far as technology goes, England was behind America by a few years. As for as techniques go, i wouldn't really give the Beatles credit for that... I would give geoff emerick the credit..
I could have a long, long list but I keep it short with:
U2
&
Radiohead
oh, and Oasis
But as for most over rated band I'd have to say Arctic Monkeys
The Beatles, definitely.
Also:
Hannah Montana
Beyonce'
The Beatles overrated?
How can you classify The Beatles and Hannah Montana/Beyoncé together in the same post?!?!?!
Fixed that for you.
