Me too. I have no idea why people keep posting that mockup

based on the rumours and especially the cases...this model fits all the rumours best I think. Tappered, rectangular homebutton, bigger screen etc. thats why...,name one who also fits all the rumours. They miss one or more rumoured leaks, this tapperedly brainfart includes them all.

I think it'll look somewhat like this

This looks awesome.

I think it'll look like this, but slightly tapered, though not as severe as the OP. Also, the volume buttons are going to be different, as seen with the China cases. More iPod touch like.

Plus, regarding the OP, there's no way in HELL that Apple would put that stainless steel back on the next iPhone.

As great Apple is they would keep it at the same price as the other iPhones just 699 Eur for a 16gb version.

I doubt it. Something that advanced would warrant a price rise I think (unless it was released waaaay down the track when some of those features are common). I think they could release a phone that slim, excluding the fancy keyboard and holographic screen at the same pricepoint though, especially considering LG is looking to release a 7mm thick Optimus 3D 2.

As nice as that concept looks, I have a problem with the screen looking awkward (the edge to edge look) and the body possibly being dangerously thin, so as to compromise it's strength.

I see what you mean but before multi-touch came out and if we had seen a conceptvideo of it at that time, everyone also probably would have thought....hmmmm to unrealistic. With someting like this Apple can shut everyone up for a whole time. It can happen, its indeed to thin imo also btw

I like the design, but not the material on the back. Looks a bit cheap in that photo. I HOPE that shape is what people meant when originally talking about the tapered back.

A little, evil part of me likes to think that the Chinese-made iPhone 5 cases we're seeing are based on a deliberate misinformation leak by Apple to get back at the fake accessory makers! ;) "A tapered back" yeah, right.
