If you ask me, Sept. 11th, 2001 was as equally shocking.

Very, very, very shocking, yes.

But even the murder of thousands of innocents as an act of terrorism (as has happened in many cities around the world,) does not even hold a candle to the searchlight that is the systematic mass extermination of millions of people, in an attempt to eradicate an entire culture.

I'd have to say that the most intersting/notable things to happen in my town were the blizzarad of February 2010 (3.2 feet of snow, no school for a week), the earthquake of August 2011 (5.8 magnitude), and when John Wilkes Booth came to Dr. Samuel Mudd's home in 1865 (lol) to get his leg fixed.
 
A truck loaded with two tons of dynamite and four tons of ammonium nitrate blew up in my town in 1959, killing 14 people.
