If it becomes available unlocked in the Fall -- around the time the iPhone 7 is hitting -- they better plan on making this thing very affordable to stand any chance.

The Verge theorizes that it's a Verizon exclusive because other carriers may not have shown enough interest. Sad, if true.

Good look here.... I mean the aesthetics aren't Apple or Samsung level. But it will also be half the price likely. And this is cool innovation that should be applauded. Not everyone views their phone as a fashion accessory.

I think you're right...better dig a hole. First the VZW exclusive then the phones themselves....removing the headphone jack just to make it thinner and lose functionality is the wrong move IMHO. this might be the last year of a Moto branded phone. Next year it will be swallowed up with the Lenovo offerings.
