This completely fixes this bug for me. I have no idea why. I'm not complaining.

Merry Christmas.

I have good new for you and all of peoples who have trouble with this annoying bug.

I have founded a way to fix this bug. It 's very simple to do so just follow my guide and

I guarantee It will 100% (tested on other mac too)

  1. Login in your mac with only main monitor turning on, keep 2nd monitor turn off
  2. In "System Preference" -> "Mission Control" -> "Hot corners" -> Set "Put Display to Sleep" to any available slot
  3. Put your main display to sleep by using method in step 2
  4. Turn on your 2nd monitor and you are done. Just it.

None of the fixes suggested have worked for me, also on a 16" pro with Radeon Pro 5600M 8 GB. the two monitors are LG 38GN950 and LG 49" ultra wide...very frustrating

For people who do not own a (new enough) iPad, launching Duet also seems so solve the issue. The only problem is that duet has to continuously run with a display connected for the fix to stay active.

Well, here's another crazy way to temporarily fix the issue (though mine is slightly different, with my cursor always disappearing in a vertical column about 90% across the screen, moving from left to right):

Just run OBS (https://obsproject.com/). For some reason, when I run OBS, the problem just goes away.

Here's a video of the issue and the "fix":

Here are my specs. The monitor is an LG 27UN850.

Whenever I move the mouse to the right side of the external screen, at about 90%-92% of the way to the right side, the mouse cursor disappears. Anything further to the right than that, the mouse doesn't click where it appears to be.

If you have more than two monitors, this hack works for me as well. You only need to unplug the vertical monitor that is having the issue while you perform the hot corner action on one of your others.
This worked, I had to turn off my 2 other monitors. Follow the steps and restart the 2 monitors.

I have the same problem. 2019 MbP 16'', Big Sur 11.4, 5300M using with 24'' Dell monitor vertical.

I have the exact same issues and thought I was losing my mind ... the "turn off the screens" trick worked for me, but only until I used a hot corner again. For me the issue happens with a vertical band on my left monitor and a horizontal one on my right monitor.

I never heard anything back when I submitted this issue either. However, it appears to have been fixed in the 11.5.1 update. Has anyone else noticed this?
