I don't know what is main issue here?
I have AttackShark R5 Ultra mouse that have 3 connection types and even when it's on bluetooth, there is zero lag.

I’m pretty sure a lot of our personal BT experiences will have to do with our specific setups. I found all sorts of things to affect my BT issues. It took me a long time to realize that the external monitor combined with high CPU load created interference.

Instead of trying to figure out the weird combo of factors that give me good or bad BT performance, I’d just sooner slap in the USB receiver and not worry about it.

Exactly. I start using USB dongle long time ago because of higher polling rate. BT can handle only 125Hz, but my mouse support 1000Hz by default and can handle up 8KHz.
Difference between 125 and 1000 Hz is very noticeable even on 60Hz monitor. Its even more clear on ProMotion.

I tried to use my Logitech unified adapter... but for some reason I didn't manage to get a stable connection.
It's just that I had used the mouse with Bluetooth on two of my Dell Laptop for work and I never had issues.
Maybe it is as you say and it depends on the exact configuration.

I just expect from an "it just works" company like apple, that I don't have to find out myself why it is not working...

I can’t tell if that poster really believes that or was just being facetious, but I can tell you firsthand it makes no difference. My Apple branded input devices don’t work any better than other ones.

The exact model of laptop you got could matter though. All of my 2016-2020 MBPs would drop signal if connected to my external monitor and the CPU load got high enough to cause the fans to come on. I think my M4 MBP is better, but I can’t say for sure since I rarely use BT for input devices nowadays.

Interference is a regular problem with anything Bluetooth. It’s fine for things like audio where you don’t need perfect connectivity to have a perfect experience, but for input devices I prefer a USB receiver.

There were a lot of Bluetooth complaints on the M1 Macs, particularly the mini. I use Logitech dongle or wired mice as they always perform well for me and I love the ergonomics.

What would solve this on MacBooks is a USB-A port or Logitech making USB-C dongles. My new Lenovo Yoga has one USB-C port and it makes the Logitech dongle a piece of cake.

You're gonna be sorely disappointed. That company was always a myth. It sort of existed when they only had like five products and those five products worked well with each other.

Back when I gave up on using Bluetooth mice, I went back to wired ones, but periodically I'd still run into weird issues that acted like interference where the mouse would jitter or stop moving. I tried to fix it by plugging my mouse into different hubs and finally directly to the laptop. Anytime I changed the setup, it would fix it, but only temporarily. Within a few days or weeks it'd be back.

If that seems bizarre, it really wasn't. I was picking up dust bunnies on the sensor of my mouse and by moving the mouse around to different ports, I'd be moving it around enough that the dust bunnies might shake loose.

I felt like such an idiot that I couldn't figure that out for the longest time.

Regular maintenance of your equipment is an expected part of owning a car, house or Mac.

Because we all should buy the Magic Mouse. It's 2025, I am trying to get my MX Anywhere 2 to work with my M1 MacBook Air, but I have many lags, it's impossible to work with it.
I am also having issues with the colour/scaling on my non-apple monitor (HP Z24i). Never was annoyed by this monitor when running windows.
I am starting to regret having bought the Mac.
I noticed when I updated all my devices that my mx master was super laggy (I use the dongle btw, because it’s on a KVM).

I realized that I had a number of things that cross my desk with bluetooth connections, shifting things helped a lot.

I wonder if tahoe, ios 26, et al either bumped bluetooth broadcast power or changed things to increase polling rates or something. I didnt have this level of interference before. Anyway, worth checking that for you.

/2.4ghz wifi could probably do it too btw, if you’re not having my problem specifically. Not a problem a problem for me on my desk since pretty much everything on my desk uses wired networking when there, phone aside, and everything in there that uses wifi can use 5ghz for that matter and defaults to that, but might be a thing to check for you too
