I had a $4000 machine with $400 of AppleCare that was broken the whole time I owned it. The display delaminated 2 times. The GPU was defective the entire. The machine throttled CPU approximately 70% of the time and throttled GPU 100% of the time. I paid the price of 4 average laptops for 1 notebook that was defective the entire time I owned it. What gratitude do you think I should be showing? There wasn't a minute I owned my 2015 that it wasn't defective. I had to plan repairs around my job the whole time I owned it. Do you think that this is normal or something? Furthermore, your point is completely irrelevant to what I think about the 2018 model. It's really neither here nor there.Apple gave you a brand new laptop, and here you are expressing your gratitude. Nice.
All annoying, and your frustration is certainly warranted but why are you here? What do you hope to achieve? Be done w/Apple and move on. Problem solved. At least you have a brand new laptop to offset your loss, no?I had a $4000 machine with $400 of AppleCare that was broken the whole time I owned it. The display delaminated 2 times. Why are you here. Why are there people like you that waste time asking people “why they’re here”. They’re here not because they need your approval. They’re here on the open internet discussing things that are relevant and material to this forum.
Apple took care of this person. Many here have not been as fortunate. It’s hard to be empathetic. But, to your point..okay, I’ll bite.
OP, you’re in a real pickle. That’s because the 2015 mbp is the holy grail of mbp’s so if yours was terrible, nothing else will satisfy. It’s all downhill from here. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Apple bad!
Does that suit you better, books?
(In all seriousness though, that does suck and it’s always disappointing to have a bad experience but c’mon you got a brand new laptop..give it a chance or dump it. Moreover, I think you can still find nib 2015’s, fyi)
