MP 1,1-5,1 MP 3,1 El Capitan to Big Sur

Hello all,

I had a quick question about installing bug sir via OCLP. Do I need to patch dosdude1's Catalina patcher over El Capitan onto my MP 3,1 before using OCLP to avoid metal compatibility? (I have a metal gpu installed and working fine.) Or will OCLP install the necessary drivers and patches without dosdude1's patch?
