Absolute ******** that this STILL doesn't allow for audio/video calls to regular MSN users. Microsoft is really slacking with the Mac port of Messenger.

how does it tell if you are corporate users? what if you just select corporate users during first run?

I can't connect right now since Im in a restricted NW. But this is very disappointing if normal users can't use audio/video sync chat. Guess Skype is still the best :D

wow, i don't use MS messenger for anything, but their attitude really isn't the way to go about things.

According to the MS Mac team, they are working "hard" to bring video and audio to personal users....Let's hope we will see it happening soon...

Its pathetic that third parties have done it so much earlier than MS. I just can't wait until I can get rid of Mercury Messenger for video. Then I will start desperately waiting for Adium to get A/V support.

I can't imagine why its so hard. If M$ wants to exit mac market, feel free. Office 2004 is good enough for me, lol

this is just dissapointing, no video yet?!, does this support offline messages?

Well either they've accidentally released a beta version of some kind, or this is some kind of f*****g joke, nothing has changed unless your a corporate user, they have been taking a long time to develop this and the best they came up with was this piece of ****.

There are a few minor changes, but its definitely a dreadful update for such a long time coming.

Yea, seems pretty ridiculous to change only a few minor things after such a long period of time.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. And you can't even video chat through Parallels because MSN messenger doesn't detect the iSight. Grr. Boo MS.

Yes you can.

That's how I video chat to people on MSN Messenger. Only problem is, since the new Mac's (since early last year) have 1.3MP cameras in them, the video gets zoomed in a bit (driver issue I think, doesn't realise it is a 1.3MP camera), but oddly enough it looks fine if you load up My Computer then Webcams.

Hmm. I've yet to be able to get MSN through Parallels to realize the iSight is there. Could you explain how I should go about locating it and setting it up? Pretty please? *puppy dog eyes*
