...I have this case also, for my iPhone 12 (also had one on my iPhone XS for 2 whole years - it aged beautifully!).

It looks (and smells!!) fantastic but I really don't understand why they went with the decision to leave the bottom exposed??? Especially seeing that the Apple genuine leather cases, which are due in November will have bottom not exposed....

Which do you have? I am considering this case myself in the brown colour.

I just wish it covered the bottom of the phone (if Apple's leather ones do (like I've heard), then I'll probably end up switching).

I would buy this if the bottom was covered...

Are credit cards safe with the wallet on the Mujjo cases? In the other thread, the Mujjo rep said that it was "unlikely" but that doesn't sound very confident. They went on to say that most cards use chips now instead of strips, which lead me to believe that it'll probably wipe your magnetic strips.

Hi, would you mind posting a pic of the blue case on your phone? TIA

...there's a pic of the case in this thread although the pics make it seem like the blue is way lighter than what it is in real life (its alot darker) :

Speaking personally the dock in my car will only fit if the case has the bottom open; I am sure there are other people in similar circumstances too.

So, it’s a design decision and gives you access to other customers. I wouldn’t buy the new Apple case as it wouldn’t meet my needs.

I think I'm right in saying that Mujjo's leather is a vegetable based leather rather than a genuine leather like Apple's

I do like them but I noticed in the past that Mujjo's leather goes quite tacky

I think the description is open to mis interpretation. It is a genuine leather case but they use vegetable based dyes to colour the leather.

My Mujjo Wallet case arrived today. first impressions:

It is very well presented, a tri-fold high quality box with magnetic closure, gives an excellent impression.

The case itself ( I chose the Blue ) is well finished with good detail and stitching.

The buttons are nothing like the photos on the web site, I found them to be very stiff and required a fair bit of pressure from a fingernail to get them to engage, I've had inexpensive cases that did this better. ( I'm aware that being leather the case and button area will soften up over a period of time but it just doesn't feel right )

The card slot holds one card securely, two cards and it's a struggle to remove one of them and I didn't dare to try three cards as it felt as though it would strain the stitching. ( this would almost certainly get easier as the leather stretches, but from new its not good )

The case would be improved if it was closed at the bottom to offer better protection and be more aesthetically pleasing.

I purchased my case direct from Mujjo instead of going through Amazon as I wanted to support the company. They offer a "20% discount". It ended up costing me about the same as buying from Amazon.

The case is is £45 on the Amazon UK store. The identical Mujjo wallet case for the iPhone 11 is £20.

I'll be returning my case, it's a nice case, I feel that it is overpriced at the moment and not for me. I'd put up with the (for me) shortcomings if it was the same price as the 11 Pro, but at £45 I don't feel it is fair value.

Hmm, sticky and tacky don't sound good. I'm looking for something grippy. I never had either the Apple or the Mujjo leather. Would you say the Apple leather is grippy?

And the button issue would be annoying.

Mujjo has better leather. I used Mujjo longer than Apple (black both) and Apple looks like s..t , but Mujjo like almost new.

Here I want to add that Apple black is the most durable case compare to other colors.

This year I go with Apple case, Mujjo has gap between phone and case buttons in the case I got. Really upset :-(
Any idea why the Apple leather in black more durable and I think you also said in another thread that black is the most grippy of Apple's colors too?

Sorry, I cannot compare different colors and grip. The only I can tell that I like Apple case grip more than Mujjo wallet case (both black).

BUT: Mujjo leather is more durable. This year Mujjo case was 1-2 hours almost every day in my bike jersey back pocket. I used alcohol prep pads 1-3 times a day on it due to the virus, still like brand new. I dropped my phone once during bike ride at the speed of 14 mph and Mujjo case saved my iphone.

Again I do not like buttons this year, but I may be keep Mujjo case since I like minimalistic wallet idea. iMO Much better than Apple magnet purse.

I put my old 11 Pro Max in my new Mujjo 12 Pro Max case and it seems that the camera cutout is too large. I don't believe that the 12 Max has a larger one so it may not fit correctly.

...this case is trash. I've had mine for just 2-3 days and I already have a knick in the leather on the inside of one of the corners (which is still visible from the outside).

The biggest flaw with this case is that Mujjo are conning people with the photos they have on their website as the buttons shown in the pics are 100% NOT the buttons that are present on the case itself.

See my post here for further info:

I usually buy a Mujjo (or 2) every year, but now that Apple has made every other case obsolete with MagSafe, we will have to wait for the other case manufacturers to pay to play.
