no worries man! I'm sure we all really appreciate that you admitted it was a misunderstanding vs. trying to defend the pointless - it happens way too much on these forums.

Thanks...I'm not trying to spread any rumors for the sake of doing so.....

I'll go back to my knitting now!!!:D

You know...I fell so bad for posting some erroneous info. So bad that I'm going to JB this iPhone 4 on my own and share it with all....

Anyone know how to get the back off? Two little screws and some solder?

:D

Ah......sorry. I'm Twitter-illiterate! Never-Mind!!!!

LOL, I was so confused by this thread until Krafty's post, and then I got more confused by most of the replies after that. But as Krafty posted, basically, MuscleNerd said something that basically didn't answer whether they plan on releasing their tool for 4.0 or not, right? :p

Correct. Another person asked him if the final jailbreak was after the 4.0.1, and he responded with "its not a 'final' jailbreak," in which the person responded with "thx but that still didnt answer my question."

oh, the value of not answering peoples questions :) Always a reason with these guys, always a reason.

Musclenerds tweet is more vague than Steve Jobs responses.

and yet we are 36 replies deep into this thread about what Musclenerd did or didn't **** to someone. Is **** the proper verbage? I'm not really that well versed in the twitter world either. It seems really confusing to me.
And I do think Apple is waiting for the j/b community before they release their update. Either that or Apple is slowly coming to grips with the fact that a software update won't fix the deathgrip.

What Musclenerd said doesn't imply anything on whether the JB will be released before or after Apple releases 4.0.1. In fact, it doesn't mean anything except for what's stated!

Theyre going to wait for the new update. What if Apple gets sneaky and updates the baseband? If they release now, theyll patch that hole.

Most would believe Apple releases their software updates to their own schedule without any regards to the JB community.

MuscleNerd recently stated this in a Tweet. Laughing it off!

The number of JB'd iPhones is very small compared to the number of stock iPhones. Apple isn't going to do a disservice to a majority of their customers by holding up millions and millions of updates because they're trying to anticipate what the JB'rs are doing. Makes no sense at all.
