How can I give and change the stars rating in the new music app in iOS10?
After more than a decade working with this feature, and almost having 40.000 muiscs with stars, dozens of list classifying musics according to stars, and now, it simply disaper.

You can do it via Siri. Smart lists still respect the star ratings, even though they aren't shown.

Thanks for the info, it really works, but is annoying to other listeners to stop the music and deal with siri.

Third party apps can still rate songs.
I use Marvis to do so. It has iOS 9-ish music app interface loaded with tons of customisation. Plus it's default theme is dark, with light theme available in in-app purchase.

Agreed. They could easily add it between the player controls and the 'Up next', when swiping up.

Cesium is another 3rd party app to check out. Hard to understand why Apple is killing the star rating feature from the native Music app. Seems to be a step backwards for the most avid and loyal music listeners. How hard would it be to add "tap album artwork" to show ratings??

Keep in mind that third party apps like Marvis, Cesium or Ecoute can be a temporary working solution but they won't be able to bring star ratings system back if Apple decides to delete it for good on both iOS AND iTunes (which would be the logical outcome).

Once again, the best way to help prevent this is to let Apple know we want it back... now!

Yes, we know. It's a major regression. Please let apple know what you think:

Why are you pointing people to the iPhone feedback page? This is a Music / Apple Music issue, not an iPhone issue.

This issue currently concerns the functionalities and design of the Music app, of which the Apple Music service is only a part. Since there's no feedback form for iOS, it seems to me the iPhone one is the closest. Also, it's the one form everyone seems to be using for this particular issue (see here and here. Oh and here too).

Strangely, Apple has a feedback form dedicated for Music Memos but none for it's main Music app!
