I got the JetDrive Go 300 that I connect to my iPhone.
I put all my music on it and want to play it directly from the disk.
It comes with an app that isn't really comfortable for playing music, and the usual Apple Music app doesn't see the music stored on the disk.
All the apps I went through on the app store need to transfer the files to the phone in order to play them ans as my phone is only 16GB that is not an option (this is why I got the external disk).
Can anyone tell me of a music playing app that will be able to play directly from the disk?
Thanks,
Maya

Nope...
Tried it just now and it doesn't give the option of the external drive as a source.
And when I try doing it through the drive itself it only gives the option of copy to VLC, so once again I take up place on the phone itself.
Thanks for trying

I bet you wish you'd spent the extra $100 to get the 64gb storage.

Best thing to do now is Spotify or some other service. Or sell your phone and try again.

Hi,
It's the phone I got from work.
Didn't cost me anything.
Maybe someone will have a suggestion.
I'm still optimistic
