well i have a brown 10" muzetto and just placed my order for the 13" since i have my 13" MBA and its a tight fit with the iPad and things. Love them love the look love everything about them. Shame that i have to wait a month for it. spent 3 days looking at the saddleback i really liked the look however they just don't seem well planned out. they don't have the zippered pocket and the pouches so everything is just thrown in the bag. The muzetto is just so well thought out and lined so beautifully and has a padded shoulder strap and $60 for shipping? wow I don't mind paying shipping but $60 thats over half the price of the case.

Saddleback is great, but they serve a different purpose than the Muzetto. Saddleback is a tank. Muzetto is a stylish leather bag. And they are HEAVY. Honestly in the long run, a Saddleback is probably going to last longer than a Muzetto, but I don't plan on using my bag for 100 years...;)

Also, having now used both, one thing I didn't like about the Saddleback is the break in time. When you first get it out of the box, it is very stiff and it takes years to break it in properly. They don't use zippers or snaps because they want fewer potential failure points on the bag.

Also - $60.00 for shipping?!??!?! Where are you located?

in good ole Cali
Shipping and handling $55.00

I own the Saddleback. It's simply too heavy for extended use.

The Muzetto looks too feminine / man purse-ish.

I like my Hartmann, which looks very nice, but may be bigger than you'd want:

That really looks like a classy well made, simple, large enough bag to accommodate my iPhone 4, iPad 2, MBA 13, notes, papers, pocket umbrella, sunglasses, keys, in ears & wallet.

THANKS FOR THAT SUGGESTION :)

I got the Waterfield Designs Muzetto Bag for my iPad 1 I still have it of course. I added their Smart Case for my iPad2 and they work great together, like they were made for each other.

The Thread Starter asked earlier how the Muzetto Bag has held up, and my answer would be extremely well. I've had it for over a year now, used it every day, including taking it camping on several weekends, and it still looks like new. Excellent quality, backed by a very reputable company.

You can't go wrong with them.

Thank you! I did got with a Muzetto. I am currently in the August 15th production run. Hoping it ships before then!

This is pretty spot-on. I've got a Saddleback Messenger that I once lugged my Air around in and it gets cumbersome very quickly. Yeah, yeah, I read all the reviews warning of the weight but add in the rigidity of the bag and it's wise to steer clear, unless you drive to work and park the bag in one spot all day. And don't expect any flex out of the SB bag. Stretching the leather just doesn't happen.

But I'd feel safe thwarting off potential muggers while swinging the Saddleback around helicopter-style.

Here's a pic of my SB bag next to my now favored bag. Similar in size but the weight difference is tremendous.
