i am considering going to the macworld new york event, because i'll be in 'dc for the kennedy center's sondheim festival... this is my first apple event that i will (probably) go to, and was just wondering if anyone had any tips of what to see.. like what booths... or also, what days should i go, i mean, when will the most action (newly released stuff) be going on?

thanks :D

In general, you can probably do the whole MacWorld expo in one day. If anything, the first day is the most exciting... since the keynote is usually that day or the day before... and all product announcements are made by opening day.

one day is plenty.... unless you really get into each and every booth. it's nice to go multiple if you can, but it's not necessary. the first day might be shorter if the keynote is the same day... ie, you'll go in later than the other days.

it's definitely a great time and cool to see all the stuff up close.
