there is a HUGE number of faulty displays that displays the wrong colors and its annoying as hell.

if yiu dont believe me google ipad 3 yellow tint

I said don't let it drop to 0 regularly... Regularly does not equate to always.

Don't know why people are thumbing down info if they don't understand the English.

i never said anything about regularly or or not. I just was simply saying that with my device it seems more accurate of a drain if i let it die completely more often than not.

Allowing the battery to drain to 0 regularly will cause it to degrade more quickly. It's common knowledge.

After spending a solid day using my iPad I am impressed at how smoothly everything runs. Granted, all the apps I've installed so far were optimized for iPad 3 but not having any freezes, forced closes or random reboots was quite refreshing.

LOL, I fear 16gb isn't going to be big enough :D

After a few days use I find I can't put this tablet down :D I have HBO GO, National Geographic magazine, PBS and ABC, lots of games, iPhoto, blogsy. I went into the Apple store over the weekend, got the iPad signed up for AppleCare + so that I can carry my iPod with me everywhere.

I'm so delighted with this device & very appreciative to all the lovely people here who have suggested apps & just shared in my joy over this new toy :D

Oh & my screen is still great, my whites are white, no weird tints or blotches or odd issues cropping up.

lol okay?????

i never even said anything about that. If my device isnt drained before a recharge, it will sit at 1% for 10+ min. before dying. I never once said you were wrong, just simply was making a point about my device. Idk what your deal is.

You said: "I just was simply saying that with my device it seems more accurate of a drain if i let it die completely more often than not."

The interpretation: You are saying that you let your battery die more often than not (50%+ of the time).

My deal is this: that's bad advice. It's not good for the battery. Don't give bad advice to people looking for legitimate help.

lol i never gave it as advice. read the thread . you stated somthing, i simply said really? it appears on my device etc etc etc. never once did i state is as good advice or recommended it to anyone else. nor did i ever say you were not factual.

i was simply discussing

If you want to have such a discussion, don't post in a thread in which the author is looking for advice. You contradicting facts ends up confusing the original poster.

The fact is this: you stated that your iPad is better off being drained to 0 more often than not. You said that. That is not good for the battery: that is a fact.

Move on. What you said is there, clear as day.
