Have you tried resetting and starting over.?I would give it a shot. Load minimal apps, and see what happens

EricE

If he were getting 12 hours instead of 18 then maybe that would be an idea. He's getting THREE hours with no use at all. The battery is just defective.

I've had AppleCare send me a free pair of Beats Studio headphones when my iMac had a lot of issues.

Yeah but I was questioning the other person. Unless I misunderstood, he made it sound like they gave him AppleCare for free, and a Milanese loop band. Unless I read that wrong. So I called bs on that lol.

Sounds like your unit is defective. Very sorry... but, it happens. With 2-3 million ordered in a few minutes on the 10th, there's bound to be an unavoidable percentage that will have issues.

Apple will make it right. Might take a bit of time, but you will soon have a watch that behaves as expected.

I did see a thread on here about a week ago from someone that said they had a problem purchasing AppleCare when pre-ordering. They said the rep offered them a free sport band… the next day a manager called and asked the person to cancel it because they could not give out free bands and it was a mistake... Says the post that I had read.

Normally I don't think they ever comp AppleCare though.

Trying to find out if any stores in LA are offering in store warranty replacements, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to actually to talk to someone in a store. It's all automated and no matter what I say I get re-routed to apple care. FRUSTRATING!

Say "manager." Only that word, as your response to every question. It will route you to the store.

I doubt that *no* Apple Stores in LA have white box replacements to offer you. I really hope you find one!
