Gutsy to use a green pad — but looks pretty good. You could using those ultra fine pads that jewelers use, just to fine tune the brushing effect. Nice save!

It looks like if Apple would do a silver titanium finish. Man that looks lit ?.
.
I'm wondering how you brush off the gap between volume button though with that big sponge. Did you use the corner of the sponge to brush it off?
Haha thanks!

There’s a few spots that need a finer scrub pad and might use the suggestion stated above.

Thanks for all the positive words guys, haha.

Brand new rear system just a few weeks ago, Picture 3 was the glue which indeed looked like doo-doo.

It is just like my old iPhone 4, indeed.

Both of you are correct, That’s the glue residue.

The shiny sides look stunning when : A. They have no fingerprints B.They have no scratches. Both of which are not possible in the real world :)
Well that escalated quickly xD so soap is needed as well...

Some iPad pictures, liking it so far.

I like that so much better than the shiny sides. I actually hate the shiny sides. I did this sort of thing once with a watch that got scratched up bad. I used a needle! It took a long time that way, but I got the look I was going for.

I really really like it. I really love the old iPhone 4 sides and I agree with many posters above, I prefer matte finish over shiny steel. No more fingerprint issue :)

The brushed 12 pro is no more! It suffered a no network error and had its rear system changed under warranty. It’s back to glossy sides and since it’s with my father I’m leaving it that way till he’s Scratched up the sides. Here’s a picture from when I got my 14pro

It was a pleasant experience having the phone be covered in warranty with the brushed finish. What caused the phone to lose SIM card service is a mystery to me. There was no water damage despite my washing of the phone 😂
