Is awesome! I followed a thread that I can't find, anyway I got retentions to drop me to $30 minute plan, $30 unlimited data, and $10 unlimited text.

Got my first bill with this.
$60 bucks including tax!

Did you always have the unlimited data or just convinced them to give it to you?

Oh no. I got the other two parts, I've had unlimited data since I got back from Afghanistan lol. It was my first iPhone/phone period. 3GS in 2010.

Unlimited Data...i'm jealous :(

My bill comes out to $65 and change with unlimited talk and text with 2GB of Rollover Data

Thanks for posting this! I was able to chat with them online and they gave me the same deal!!! Already had the unlimited data for $30. Now getting unlimited text for $10 and calling for $29.99. Cant beat that deal! Thanks!

I have the 450 minutes plan and I want to drop to a lower tiered one so bad. And 10 bucks for unlimited texts? I have 10 for 1000. How did you do it, OP? I need deets so I can call into retentions.

I just chatted with them online and said I had a friend who got the same deal and asked for the same to apply to me. You will needs to tell them it came from retention and also all the details of the plan that is in the OP's screen shot.

Thanks for the tips, it worked. I just had to ask to be transferred to retentions through online chat. Then I said I had a friend with my plan who switched to Nation 300 for $29.99 and was upgraded to unlimited texts for $10. And the rep said we'll switch you over to the plan, didn't ask any questions or put up a fight. Super easy.

Edit: Also OP, I'm jealous of your other charges, mine total $9.89!!!

Which link did you use to go through the online chat? Is it also the one on the My AT&T account page?

Glad it helped you guys. It's an awesome plan, I have 2500 rollover and I still get night and weekends. I don't use that many minutes.

This is the exact plan as what I have. Their retentions dept. gave it to me when I called in to find out how I could get my plan closer to what T-Mobile was offering. This was a few years ago, and AT&T never took it away from me yet. :)

I leave my billing as alaska even though I'm in Ohio, tax free those are like 911 etc fees.

If I had Ohio it would cost more.

Do you have an address in AL or did you just pick a random one?
I lived in Alaska for 7 years, moved 2 years ago. nrver changed the billing info

Hell my fan discount was applied by a random guy on internet lol. 25% discount for 5 years now btw Alaska is ak

Had my husband call and was able to get the $10 unlimited text on both lines. Thanks OP.

The billing address has nothing to do with the taxes applied to the account. I just found this out when I was complaining about my bill constantly changing. There is a section under your AT&T profile called User Information. In that section there is something called "Place of primary use." This location is what your taxes are based on. I found out I have been paying California taxes for two years after I moved despite changing the billing address.

I complained and they gave me a $25 credit. Pretty measly, but it was something. I later noticed that they doubled my data plan for the next two years (from 3GB to 6 GB), presumably to make up for it.
