I have to ask... why? The watches are identical to each other, other than color. It’s not like you have different watches from Tissot, Hublot, Omega, etc. that do not resemble each other and don’t have bands that can be replaced in 3 seconds.

I have multiple Tissot watches for different occasions, and they look nothing alike, (which is why I have more than one) but multiple identical looking Apple watches?!?

Because they are different colors. I believe that's why most people who have more then one Apple watch, buy them.

It's not in english or at least the first minute isn't. That's all I gave it.
so sorry it's Thai .

Rolex will retain value and continue to work 100 years from now. They can be handed down generation to generation and continue to function.

That's not the point. But what you like and what the user finds value in regardless. Some at just more enticed by tech than they are Over mechanical Watches. Its merely preference.

No one know how long Apple will service the watch . As I know I can get replacement if the watch broken ,I just pay the out off warranty fee- around 30% for new one and for the battery replacement just $79.

About the value , I don't think watches price under $2000 will have bright future after Apple Watch release.
IN the next 5 years more people will wearing smart watch who gonna buy watch that not so smart .
just only independent watch and hi-end watch will survive IMHO.

This is exactly what I was thinking.

I don’t really care for traditional watches. I’ve had them before but after a while I stop wearing them. I’ve worn an Apple Watch every day since it launched in 2015.

Every one has different financial abilities, interests, and desires. I have 55 watches total now including two AW and two Garmin Fenix series. That's about my limit on smartwatches. I don't wear the non-smart watches any more because i'm addicted to data especially as I work to lose weight. But I idon't have a single watch--except the 4 smartwatches that cost more than $500 or so. No Rolex, Tag, Breitling, etc. Mostly Casio, Seiko, Citizen, and a few micro brand dive watches because I enjoy the variety and the value that can be had for lesser price.

Enjoy your collection!

How many people are currently using a 1st gen iPhone? You could still technically use one, but who is going to?
Tech has about a 5-10 year shelf life. Current Apple Watches will have no value by 2025, even if you replace the battery. For one, the watch won't receive further updates and be listed as EOL. And two, technology will be better/faster by then making current watches look archaic. Just the way tech is.

With the current throttle situation, Apple should consider making software that won’t slowdown old Apple watches considering people actually do passdown their watches from generation to generation.

I love my series 2 Nike edition. I just recently purchased 4 more bands for it. I just purchased a series 3 GPS version in Gold for my wife and she has a Milanese Loop band in Rose Gold. I will use my Series 2 until it becomes so outdated and then I will upgrade it. Since getting my Apple Watch I have gotten rid of just about all my non smart watches. Soon I'm gong to be selling all my Fitbits on Ebay.

They should but they most probably won’t. Not good for the business lol

But why does it matter? That's with any piece of tech that eventually won't hold value or see updates, it's not just the Apple Watch. Those who purchase the Apple Watch, they're not purchasing it for an investment, they are purchasing it for the usefulness for the time being it's supported. Even if the Apple Watch wasn't supported, you can still technically use it for other fitness related capabalities, timer/stopwatches, etc.

In a perfect world Apple watches would come in different shapes and sizes and would be serviced in the same manner high end, luxury watches are.

Really would’ve thought a collaboration between g-shock and Apple would’ve taken place by now.

Every Apple watch is the same though. Just slightly different colors (save for the real gold version). My point is and was, why buy 6 identical time pieces that will be paperweights in 5 years time? Makes zero sense.

Makes zero sense to you, not to others. Next year, I'll probably buy the series four watches again. I love switching then up. Doesn't make sense to you. Who cares.

Again, why does it matter? Because everyone has different appreciations for different things. If someone has the money for it and they achieve the satisfaction for what it's worth in its existence, then that's all that matters. My point was also that all tech eventually is superseded by something else will be obsolete overtime, no matter what it is.
