My first Mac and in need of advice

Bumping my thread just a little to say that I got a killer deal with the following:

- Mid 2011 Mac Mini (Base 2,3 + 2gb RAM)
- Thunderbolt Display 27"
- Wireless Keyboard
- Magic Mouse
- MBA Superdrive (unopened box)
- Apple Remote (unopened box)

All this for 1180€ (1587 $), and the best part is that the whole system is 2-3 weeks old.

I know I probably won´t keep the Mini but I´m sure as h*ll I will keep that gorgeous display

If I sell the Mini + Superdrive + Magic Mouse I can buy a MBP Early 2011 with just another couple of hundred €

Battery life.

The 13" MBP has better battery than the 13" MBA? Apple states they are both at 7 hours, so that my not be a differentiating factor.

Just a FYI.

Don't take that "7 hour" thing literally. It's up to 7 hours. My MBP gets about 3 hours or so. I have yet to hear of anyone getting 7 hours. BUT, I wouldn't trade my MBP for anything!
