I just got a new problem . I was updating some new apps and the wifi signal sucks so bad that it was taking forever to update. So I restarted the iPod. Then after I restarted it was updating again. Well after they all updated I restarted my iPod and when I turned back on some of the apps had the wrong icons to the wrong app . WTF .

You interrupted the update process, of course things will go wrong. It's like I buy more gas for my car, but I suddenly decide I need to drive someplace before it finishes pumping gas to my car. Of course the gas will spill.

My first post on macrumors. Thanks for this great board.

Wifi is horrible with 3.0. My sister's 2.2.1 iPod is hands down better in wifi than my 3.0. Also, her apps store and iTunes store apps launching seem to fly by my iPod.

Hopefully they will have this fixed in 3.1.

Try restoring. I doubt this is a huge problem because me and my Dad's iPod touches are all fine. My friends' iPods are all running smoothly as well. Try restoring.

Arrrrrrr so fricking annnnoying . My apps keeps crashing now . This update makes me wanna switch to the zune HD when it comes out.

Maybe because you didn't update properly?!? You seem to know little common sense, try restoring and update properly. Don't go update and then in the middle, turn it off and expect things to work.

skipping

I've noticed a significant issue since I've upgraded and would like to know if anyone else has as well. When I play my "running" playlist, my iPod will start songs, then skip them till the next song starts. After each skip I can hear a beeping or something like that. It will skip a few songs in a row until it finally settles down and plays normally. It's really annoying because I can't predict how many songs it will skip. Any advice on my skipping and beeping problem???

If by skipping you mean its going to another song, is it possible you have shake to shuffle on? you can turn it off in settings>music

By default, the "shake to shuffle" feature is turned on. Turn it off and you should be fine. It's in Settings > Music.

Thats definitely Shake-to-Shuffle; that "beep" is the iPods way of saying that it's registered the shake and is now going to shuffle your playlist. You can turn it off under Settings.

I just don't get it . So my Internet works on my iPod in the bathroom but if go to my bedroom right across from the bathroom it stops working . Arrr .
