He slept in my room for years, and now it is more clear than ever how much I will miss those nights. Sometimes he would wake up randomly and come over to my bed and push his nose against my arm, trying to get me to pet him.

Hehe :) this is why I could only sleep with my dog in the room if she was tired. Any ounce of energy I'd hear her get up, walk over to the bed and I'd just know she was sat there looking right at me. It always freaked me out a little.

My gran's dog (she travels with her most of the time) has to sleep under my bed too otherwise she'd cry all night for attention.

And thanks for all the stories all. Nice to know I'm not the only silly person here :eek:
 
You did a good thing there raggedjimmi, I think you would've regretted it if you hadn't held your dog, like you weren't there for it, you comforted her in her time of need :)
