But I saw a better concept. For Weather, Stocks, Calculator etc
Get rid of them. In the age of no App Store they were useful. But now there are a dozen or more choices, many for free, in the App Store. So kill the bloat and let us download what we need.
Same with languages, keyboards, Siri voices etc. best part of the argument was that making these things DLC/plugins (same with things like iMovie apps, pages templates etc) would make it easier to make more avail, perhaps even by third parties, and to fix bits without needing a full iOS update.
Plus imagine Tim or Phil getting up on stage and mentioning how some systems are a bloated mess, using 1/3 to even 1/2 of device storage. And now to go with their lighter, thinner hardware is a new lighter iOS.
This could even be round one of the open Tim Cook mentioned at D11
