Keep your porn clips to less than 5min. Don't fool yourself, we're men, we don't need 30min.

Lmao , well I had an android Device before my 4S and my usage had stay almost the same around 4GB at month

Mine was extremely high for October because I was using iTunes Match on my iPhone 4 to download music on the go. I used 3GB last month and I usually average about 300-600MB lately.

me too...

with my iPhone 3G I used to download apps all day and play youtube videos and stuff and I didn't use more than 400 MB

after I got the 4S I'm already at like 1.4 GB & in Canada we don't have unlimited internet I only have 6 GB...

I mean I've only had the phone for a month so maybe downloading a lot of apps and using Siri so much at the beginning caused so much data usage and it will relax in the upcoming months...

My 4s will sit in standby for 3 hours but when I check usage it shows almost equal time used at 2 hours 46 min.
Something is sending/receiving data but I can't figure out what.
?

Yep. That was my husband's iPhone. He has no apps. He doesn't stream. He barely uses it. And the sending/receiving was happening while he was gone and it was at home.

I went through the whole phone and turned off everything, and then slowly started restarting things... slowly. Seems under control. But all the "cool" iCloud stuff is staying off, alas. He's on a 200mb plan.

Don't you guys have wifi at home? Why not hook that up? We can keep our transfers on the 3G network to under 200mb a month cause 99% of the time we're near a wifi that we can tap.

Do you have the Solitaire app? If so, it downloads ads all the time, even when you aren't playing it! My wife's usage jumped several hundred mb a month until we figured it out, and deleted the stupid thing.

How did you figure it out? Trial and error or is there a way to track data usage?

Is there an app like My data manager? I have it on my SGSII SR and it tracks every program and records it's usage. Makes it very easy to identify the problem.
