UPS has driven past my house three times already today. Been "Out for delivery" since 3:14 this morning.
Exact opposite for me...even did the neighborhood scouting...2 UPS 0 FedEx...
FedEx packages usually show up late around my area though...Had High hopes they had increased the amount of trucks for the day or something.

Had our otterbox cases delivered by Fedex at 1230pm EST but now at 515pm EST no sign of UPS....COME ON!! the wait is killing me. Been out for delivery on both phones since 530am EST!

Nevermind as soon as I hit send UPS knocked on my door!! Now comes the fun part of activation!

Nevermind as soon as I hit send UPS knocked on my door!! Now comes the fun part of activation!
Mine has been "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" since 8:03 this morning! How long does it take to drive 4.5 miles to my apartment??? I'm wondering if it was delivered and the site just hasn't updated yet.
I'm pretty sure yours isn't the only package on the truck. It'll get there.
Just got a Delivery exception and my delivery time was moved from 3pm to 5pm. Oh well. Patience is a virtue I guess.
7:30PM still no joy. Funny thing is UPS truck showed up and delivered my wife's Amazon order. And, drove off…
Of course, I had to contact their call center. They said it could definitely be on a different truck, and I was assured it will be delivered tonight.

A watched UPS truck never delivers?… Something like that…

Congratulations to all!!!!
What a day!!! My wife and I got out phones around 11:30 this morning. Sync'ed them, activated them, played with them.....then realized I shouldn't have ordered the 16gb's. So, I called the closest AT&T wireless store to ask if they had anything other than the 16gb's left in stock (at around 5:00pm) and they said they had three 32gb's left in stock with no line. So, we trucked it to the store, paid the $100 difference, and now we're sporting two new 32gb iPhone 4s's!!!
I was kind of shocked that the AT&T store still had some in stock, but they said this is the most stock they have ever had for an iPhone release...good for us I guess.
BTW, if anyone is wandering, or cares...the iPhone 4 universal OB Defender cases work perfectly on the 4s's. No issues with the proximity sensor, forward camera, or auto-dim brightness. Also, no issues with the flash or rear camera. I had picked up a spare before the "new 4s" OB design came out and was concerned this one wouldn't fit....but it works like a charm...seriously, in every way compatible.
Again, congrats to everyone!!!

6:17am and still waiting. as an apple shareholder, i vote to ban UPS and only work with fedex

I realize that this thread kind of died after the Oct. 14th launch day iPhone 4S shipped. But I delayed my purchase decision so as I result I missed the launch day shipment
However mine is shipping for delivery on the 24th of October from Apple.
And I'm delighted to see that it's shipping via Fed Ex. I have enough UPS horror stories to fill an
crate.
